Soul Ascendance will be going on a short hiatus because I need to build more cushion but I hope you enjoyed what I have out so far!
I'm also assisting Kura with coloring Raven Wolf but this will not have any effect on the hiatus or future uploads of my comic whatsoever.
alright i just finished reading it, this one is much better than the last chapter, and it has a better pacing. The premise is seems more interesting too. Although I believe this is the same story right? no idea why you decided to change it, but I like said change. So don't consider my opinion a diatribe agaisnt your work, because I honestly like it a lot, compared to the comics I read at the website you wanted us to vote, I genuinely consider yours the best one, it seems interesting that you don't fully explain what it is about from the get go but instead you let the narrative introduce the elements of the story as it develops itself. That is something I was thinking about the other day. However I am not an expert on writing plots, and I am sure you're the one who's put enough time and effort into thinking how to make it better. Instead I will tell you the aspects I find strange. The fifth page is an example, I know the angles and everything is supose to be ok, but I simply find the head of "vincent" strange in all panels, it's also the same when he's running, not just the overall look of his body but the close-up of his foot. And the last one is not so much important because it's really minor, it's the panel that shows only his mouth screaming. It looks amateurish and bad. At least compared to everything else in the whole chapter. (part 1)
Soul Ascendance is a webcomic that takes place in the afterlife where the lost souls in purgatory must hunt demons and take on other various tasks to earn their redemption.
Throughout the chaos, Lucille Mays struggles with her new role as the grim reaper, followed by Jack a powerful yet snarky swordsman with a violent past, then Mel a shy trouble-making succubus trying to make herself useful, and Trent a sharpshooter who seeks the truth of his origins.
