After telling part of her story, Anna calmly sat back in her chair, silence slowly regaining the room.
She gently took the cup of tea in front of her, and took a sip with elegance.
"I spent several years reconquering and stabilizing our lands one by one," she began calmly.
Anna then gently put down her cup, then slowly looked up at Raphael, staring at him calmly.
"After that, there is this famous accident from twenty years ago," she said in a nostalgic tone.
"During this incident, your brother left us, and I went into a deep coma. "
"Ten long years of sleep," she breathed in an imperceptible voice.
Seeing his mother mentioned the accident from twenty years ago, Raphael felt a slight pinch in his heart.

But before Raphael could say one more word, Anna patted his desk twice, signaling him to shut up.
"I know it was hard Raphael," Anna resumed in a calm tone.

Listening to his mother's words, Raphael felt his heart beating, filling himself with an unknown feeling for him.
He then thought that Ana could change her mind, but deep down, a doubt always persists.
Anna closed her eyes and remained silent for a moment, leaving a heavy silence in the air.

"I know Valthor is back. So my condition is simple... convince him to cross out a kingdom from the map by your side. Only one, and you will have the choice of the kingdom," she said in a calm but sharp voice.

At these words Raphael stared at his mother, and in his eyes there was an icy calm. So, he understood that he could not make her change her mind and that he had to do what she asked.
