Chapter 3
After hearing the old woman’s eerie tale, the next morning Juan and María set out to continue their photographic exploration of the ghost town’s ruins. As they work, they tease and flirt with each other, daring one another to see who’ll be the first to find the cursed well Doña Dolores spoke of.
They wander through the ruins, which howl in the wind like wounded beasts. The two youngsters, innocent as children, have no idea of the danger lurking within that dizzying maze.
