Those who stand at the top of the hierarchy like CEO love clear point to point conversation without wasting their time. Playing mind games here will only make me look Stupid.

So, Lets just get straight to the fucking point.

The King returned to the sofa with two bottles. One was a deep, garnet wine; the other was a clear, fresh fruit juice.

There were glasses, already placed on the table. He poured wine in his glass and juice in mine.

"So ? What is It that you want to talk about ?" He asked

"I want to ask for two favors!" I said

"oh? Not one but two ? Okay, Lets hear the first one" He said

"I want to become an adventurer in a few years" I said in one breath.

"Not Possible" The king replied in one breath before taking a sip.

Yep, This is what i get for being honest and getting straight to the point without any Explanation. A straight Refusal.

"You know this as well, Tyer. If you want to become an adventurer you have to wait until you are eighteen or nineteen." He said

"And if you want to become one as soon as possible, which is at the age of fourteen that is also impossible for the same reason. The Junior course might not be mandatory but the Senior course is. You can not miss that." he said like father giving a lecture on why one should not bunk classes, to his son

"I know that" I said.

Well for the upcoming conversation, We will need some context about this world's adventurer and education system.

In this world Adventurer are like mercenaries. they do work and get paid for it. But that's just the tip of the iceberg. 

What else do they do ? I will talk about it if I ever become one.

The minimum age for becoming an adventurer is fourteen years old. A calculated age, since this give the kids four years of time to get used to their system skills.

The education system is pretty neat as well.

There are Two types of courses. One is Junior course, Which kids need to take from the age of twelve to Fifteen and After a gap of four or five months, is the Senior course of three years from fifteen to Eighteen.

Most noble children are homeschooled before the Age of Twelve.

For the commoner there are many Public or private schools throughout the Nation to study before the age of twelve, since they can not get homeschooled.

After the nobles and commoners are educated until they are twelve, A national exam is held.

But, of course its only for commoners. Most nobles can enroll their children in any academy they want except one.

The Sommet Royal Academy, This is the best academy in the nation. But that does not mean there is no nepotism here. Anyone below the status of duke family gotta give the entrance exam to enroll.

But the children from duke, Grand Duke or Royal family have their seat reserved.

Each year has two semester. So, Six semester in each course in total.

Now what the king wanted to say was that I can not become an adventurer unless I am eighteen and have completed my senior course which is mandatory for all nobles.

And even if i want to become An adventurer as soon as possible, which is at eighteen, I can only do so for one year after which i gotta go to senior academy.

And Adventuring for only one year doesn't sound fun.

But i have a plan...

" But I intend to use the exception Rule" I said

"The Exception rule ?" My father's interest was piqued as he leaned in.

"Yes. And that leads me to my second favor, I have to ask"

The exception rule or commonly known In earth as the Referral Rule.

If someone at the age of ten or above can get acknowledged by a B-rank or above Rank adventurer and get their referral, Then they can become an adventurer too.

Originally this policy was made to let strong adventurer's young disciples have on field experience.

"I want An adventurer who can train me in magic and martial arts and can help me with the referral and I want royal essential lessons to start early but only the truly necessary ones." I said

"Hmm... I see what your plan is. it's good plan. when do you plan to start your journey ?" he asked

"when i am ten"

"at ten huh... then you have four years in hand. To train both magic and martial art while also learning royal lessons... The pressure will be a lot. Can you handle it ?"

"I have to"

"Then Tell me your plan. and If i am satisfied, I will give you A condition, only if you accept, will i grant you your favors." He said

"Alright, So, I wish to train under an adventurer for four years and become an adventurer at ten. Then i want to go around the world for Five years and then join a senior academy course" i explained

"I see... Then, I have two conditions for you"

"okay.."

"First, You have to give the Junior academy entrance exam under the guise of a commoner and rank high enough to get accepted in the sommet academy and second,..." He paused for a bit.

He continued "You have to get accepted into the Arcadia Academy"

Arcadia Senior Academy, An Academy in the neutral state of Egalite.

Almost all academies, including Sommet academy offers both junior and senior course but Arcadia offers only Senior course.

The state of Egalite is actually  a small country in itself. It is also known as the State of Equality or State of peace.

None of the Prime six races rules over that land. It is a place where people of all Races live and yet there's hardly any dispute or racism ever seen.

In fact, The Inter Racial meeting is also held here.

And at the center of that land stands the Arcadia academy, The best academy in the whole world and An academy where anyone can study regardless of their race and status as long as they are eligible.
