I’ve spent an unhealthy amount of time in Night City. After another replay of Cyberpunk 2077, I realized I didn’t really want to leave it. I just wanted more stories. Something new.
My first idea was to build a mod with a new mission, but that turned out to be way beyond what I could realistically take on.
So I started Night City Riot.
It’s a first-person, fan-made comic series built from in-game screenshots, edited and written to feel like a side job you might stumble into while cruising Night City.
It’s not a sequel and not a continuation of V’s main story. Think of it as self-contained gigs that could exist somewhere between other contracts. Same city, same rules, different mess.
The goal is to keep these stories canon-friendly and grounded in the tone of the game. Fixers, debts, corpos, consequences.
Each story is structured like a job broken into shards, and future posts will explore different gigs across Night City rather than a single long arc.
For those who care about process: I didn’t use AI for the creative work, just some light grammar checking.
