And that's a wrap for chapter 4! YES I KNOW it's a cliffhanger again and I AM SO SORRY and I'm thankful for your patience!
Life has been very busy, to be honest it's quite the miracle this chapter exists at all! I am actually quite proud to have not given up on this story for EIGHT YEARS now! Many would feel shame at "how slow" that would be for four chapters, but I won't. This story is my life companion now! It has carried me through hell and back and still will in hard days ahead, and I feel nothing but pride and love for my characters, and I'm so glad to share it with you!
The Occult Officers are sharing my life with many others : a book project, fanarts and fanfic...But also my day job, my efforts to maintain physical and mental health, my (many!) loved ones, and I can't prioritize their adventures as much as I would like, but it's making the long run even more valuable. Because I don't feel disheartened in making it in the slightest! And when I come back to a page after weeks or months, I bring to the paper enthusiasm and all that I have learned in the meantime, and pour my very best skill into it.
I hope you'll continue to follow me, Emil and the others, I promise we will overcome the obstacles together!
