Back to that night—the night after Haruto had talked to Mr. Bagrovskiy. His chest was still heavy as he walked out of the room. He was thirsty, and perhaps that was his body's excuse for going down to the kitchen—to breathe, to think.
When he got there, two children ran up to him, laughing. With them was an old woman busy cleaning. The woman stopped when she saw him.
“Mr. Alvarado, do you need anything?” she asked with a light smile.
She knows me... Haruto asked himself. “I'm just going to drink some water,” he replied, smiling—the smile he usually wore when he was hiding something.
“Oh, I wish you asked the servant to get you some,” the woman said.
“Ah… that’s fine,” Haruto replied. “I also want to go for a walk and get some fresh air.” Heh… hand on hip, slight smile.
Before he could finish speaking, the two children pulled him into the kitchen. “Brother! Let's play!” one shouted.
“Hey, I told you to stop running and play around,” the old woman scolded.
“But we want to play with him!” the children said it together.
“It’s already late. Don’t bother, Mr Alvarado.”
“It’s okay,” Haruto said as he sat on the floor, smiling, slightly embarrassed.
The woman left, and the children led him behind the kitchen where they lived. That’s when Haruto was surprised. Behind the estate was a farm, and in the distance, he noticed a light flickering in the darkness.
He frowned.
While he was playing, he secretly looked around. There was no guard. No sign of a weapon.
The old woman called out, letting the children in and saying it was time for bed—and Haruto too.
“I’m leaving too,” he replied softly and respectfully.
When the children entered, he suddenly ran towards the trees. He stopped for a moment, observing the place. Quiet. Safe. He continued in the direction of the light. The road was downhill—a secret route out of the estate.

He quickly arrived at Gin's shop. He was inside, busy thinking, when the door suddenly opened.
"What are you doing here again?" Gin asked, clearly surprised and worried.
"I don't have enough time," Haruto said. "I need to talk to you," he said in a serious and low voice.
His breath deepened. "I think... Mr. Bagrovskiy already knows something about me. They're already suspicious."
Gin frowned. "So what's the plan?" Well, that’s not surprising, he said in his mind.
"They're going to raid the San Diego headquarters tomorrow. And I don't know if after that, I'll be the next target." He paused for a moment. "I need your help. I already put the wiretap in his office and the room I'm staying in."
Gin quickly took out the cassette and listened to it. A faint voice echoed.
“The government did it,” said a man.
“I see… You can leave now,” replied Mr. Bagrovskiy.
Gin and Haruto looked at each other.
“Government?” Gin whispered, and they could see the surprise and suspicion on their faces.
“What did the government do?” Haruto asked. They were both unsure—both tied up in the middle of the mess.
The night grew darker. The air grew heavier.
“I have to go back,” said Haruto seriously.
“I’ll take care of this.”
“Yeah, thanks.” Haruto smiled slightly. “I leave this to you.” He said with gratitude in his eyes.
After he left, Gin immediately closed the shop. The real mission had begun.
Haruto managed to sneak back into the estate, taking the same route. He entered quietly—but as he was about to leave the kitchen, he ran into Gabriel.
“What are you doing here?” he asked, his gaze cold.
“I drank water,” Haruto replied. “And I was hungry, so I looked for something to eat.” He said calmly but alertly.
Gabriel was silent as he measured him from head to toe. In between the silence, Haruto felt the threat—and the truth that with one wrong move, everything would be revealed. That night, it was clear that not only loyalty was being tested, but also heart and betrayal.

Present event.
While in the helicopter, Haruto and Gin were on their way out of the estate. He was staring at the estate, his face unreadable and his emotions hard to read.
Gin looked at him and sighed. “So, what’s our next plan?”
He looked at Gin and sighed as he leaned his head back.

“You just gonna leave them like that, Fabio!?!” Nate said angrily.
“NATE!!” Gabriel replied.
Mr. Bagrovskiy was looking outside while treating his wound.
His men were shocked when Mr Bagrovskiy laughed uncontrollably.
“Ah… I find it funny,” he sighed before he got serious. “Yeah… leave them alone for now. It’s more fun to chase a rat when it’s being chased. I’ll kill him with my own hands.”
Nate sighed. Anger and disappointment were visible on his face.
“For now, let’s handle the other rats and the government.”
“Roger,” Gabriel said.
“Clean up the mess first, and then we'll make a new plan... He'll come back to me; he hasn't finished his mission yet.”
Nate and Gabriel looked at Mr Bagrovskiy.
This psycho. Nate said to himself.
The helicopter disappeared into the distance, yet Mr Bagrovskiy continued to stare at him, a knowing smile creeping across his face, as if he already knew what Harato's next move would be.
