“Seems they’re having quite the fun around there,” Suiryu says, standing inside her hedge of water.

Aurium and Armstrong are standing some metres in front of her, ready to engage her in battle. Aurium has the same hairstyle with Arsey, medium length hair braided at the left side however hers is blonde. She is fair skinned though her color is more gold-like, has gold colored eyes and putting on gold jewelries. She has fortified her feet, knees, elbows, fists and neck with gold as she stands ready to fight Suiryu. Armstrong has black low cut hairstyle with a pattern of the letter ‘A’ at his left side. He is light-brown skinned, has red eyes, a huge and muscular physique and has the full length of both his arms covered in steel. While Serena, Kiiara, Maka, May, Palma, Borro and Kevla are also standing at their positions ready to attack also.

“Don’t engage yet,” they all hear and turn to see who it is.

It is Jin. He walks calmly as he approaches Suiryu and comes to a halt at Aurium’s position. Jin has long black silky hair, braided from his neck to his waist where the hair stops, purple eyes and a calm personality but also gives that vibe that you should be cautious.

“Now, allow me to go first,” Jin says and lets off a light smile as he dashes to attack Suiryu.

“Hoo,” Suiryu says as she confidently removes her hedge of water, waiting for Jin’s attack.

Jin quickly throws a kick but Suiryu evades by gently stepping to her left however before she can complete the step, with the leg he used to kick is still in motion, Jin quickly changes the direction of kick, following Suiryu.

“What?” Suiryu gently says, being a bit surprised.

She is forced to use her hand to block the attack. She tries to grab him but he flips, evading the grab and lands safely opposite Suiryu.

“He wasn’t as fast as me with cheetah attribute but he was able to get Lady Suiryu to block,” Maka ponders, trying to figure out what happened.

“You see people, I can use calcium manipulation a bit which makes it possible for me to use bone manipulation. There’s a particular bone style which allows for the reading of bone movements in your opponents. So even if Lady Suiryu can read our movements, I can read hers too,” Jin explains, smiling.

“Amazing,” May compliments.

“Quite some interesting participants this year, your generation seems to have some strong people. I can’t wait to see what path each of you take,” Suiryu compliments.

“Hmph, well we’ve spent quite the time here. Jin, we’ll build our attacks around you. Maka, Serena, Aurium, Armstrong and May, you’ll attack Suiryu head on along with Jin. Kevla will provide backup from a distance while Palma and Borro will assist me in preparing a powerful attack,” Kiiara suggests.

“Hey!! What gives you the right to order me around?!” Jin shouts.

“Hey!!! You have no right to give orders, you know,” Maka says angrily looking at Kiiara. “However, seems you and I have the same thing in mind,” she says as she turns to face Suiryu.

“Well while that’s a nice plan and all, let me give you something to deal with,” Suiryu says, pointing her hands towards the vast body of water which is just around the corner.

“Manifest: Water style: water dragon.”

Instantly, from the vast body of water, comes rushing at Kiiara and the rest, water in the form of a serpentine wingless creature having scales with a massive head and sharp teeth. The speed is so fast but Kiiara and the others are somehow able to dodge it. It twirls and spins up into the clouds and begins rushing back at them.

“This is bad,” Jin says. “Change of plans. Maka, Serena, May, Aurium, Armstrong and Kevla, you’re with me. We’ll go against Suiryu. Kiiara, Palma and Borro, use that powerful move of yours to destroy that water dragon,” he suggests.

“Sure thing. At least you’ll be useful Kiiara,” Maka says, grinning.

As the water dragon approaches, Kiiara starts forming a huge ball of fire, larger than her mini conflagration.

“Palma, use your oil to support my flames. Borro, you too use your wind. I’ll fuse them together to form an even more powerful conflagration,” she says while forming the huge ball of fire.

“Good, good. Now let’s go,” Jin says as he and the others move to attack Suiryu.

However,

“Manifest: Earth Style: Dynamic Labyrinth.”

Immediately, thick huge walls of earth, sprout from the ground all over the entire battlefield in a maze like manner.

“What is this?!” some participants exclaim.

“Damian’s plan, huh?” Jin says looking up.

“Hey everyone,” Damian says, with an earthen face of his appearing only on the walls facing each remaining participant.

“There’s no time again, so I’m ending this now. Everyone brace yourselves, May and I will use our ‘Earth style: grasshopper’ to send everyone high up, Kevine will hold everyone that can’t fly or levitate, Tesla will use storm release to hold the teachers along with Dia who will ‘Earth release: Quicksand’ to support. Erraz will cover everywhere with darkness, Kiiara will launch her attack which will be amped by Serena’s lightning. Since Kiiara is good at fusion style, the technique having a good fusion should be quite powerful. Dayve will also launch a lion’s roar attack while Gerrar will launch a powerful attack with his twin blade and then I’ll deal the final blow which I’m confident will end this particular event once and for all,” he quickly explains.

“Wait—-,” some try to talk but before they can finish their statement.

“May, let’s do this,” Damian quickly proposes.

“Manifest: Earth style: Grasshopper,” May and Damian say. Using the ground beneath each participant all through the entire battlefield, they send them all upwards, both the conscious and unconscious.

As Kiiara is sent upwards, she evades the water dragon, still having the huge ball of fire with her.

“Manifest: Storm release: Silver storm,” Tesla says and instantly, silver clouds cover the entire battlefield, from Hachi’s side to Suiryu’s location. Silver storm immobilizes all activity within its range. However, it drains a lot of energy and for Tesla’s current level, it cannot hold out for long.

“Damn it. Silver storm is always hard to deal with no matter who’s using it,” Suiryu complains.

“It won’t last,” Tesla says, floating in the air with her ‘Cloud of hermes’.

“Don’t worry, Dia’s quicksand will assist. Now Erraz,” Damian says.

“Yeah, yeah,” Erraz replies, casually floating in the air. He then stretches his hands at the battlefield below them.

“Manifest: Darkness style: Darkness Dome.”

The entire battlefield on the ground level, becomes utterly shrouded in thick darkness.

“They’re really syncing,” Hachi says, struggling to move.

Being close to each other, Serena quickly adds lightning to Kiiara’s huge ball of fire which is four times the size of her mini conflagration.

“Manifest: Fusion style: Lightning flame conflagration!!” Kiiara yells as the huge ball of fire wrapped with lightning sparks, swirls with immense wind pressure. Energetically, she tosses the huge ball of fire and lightning, into the shroud of darkness.

“Manifest: Twin sword ability: Flood of lightning,” Gerrar says, pointing his swords at the battlefield shrouded in darkness. He conjures a great volume of water from one sword and follows up with lightning from the other sword to charge the water by covering and fusing with the it.

“Manifest: Fire style: Lion’s Roar!!!”

Dayve releases his fast attack which appears as an enormous amount of fire in the form of a very large and ferocious lion with its mouth fiercely opened.

While the attacks sink into the dark cloud, Damian descends a bit but not into the darkness. Levitating in the air, he stretches his palm towards the battlefield.

“Now, watch people at the technique which will claim victory in the battle royale tournament. Let this be an eye opener as to what awaits you in the tournament ahead. For those of you still hiding some of your powerful techniques, know this, all your techniques are useless before my style,” he says. “Manifest: Quake style: Full crisis!!!” he utters.

Instantly, waves generates from each of his hands towards the battlefield and in the blink of an eye, not just the entire battlefield but the total area surrounding the mole valley, erupt violently and vigorously, causing an enormous explosion throughout the battlefield and some parts of the vast body of water. The explosion is so huge it nearly reaches the participants up in the sky although the pressure from the blast does affect them.

Seeing this, all the participants are shocked, except for Dayve who is more impressed than shocked.

“What power. Just one guy,” they murmur.

They all wait a while for the explosion to finish and for the dust to settle before they are back to the ground. By now, Dubnet is back to his conscious state. The entire landscape is so disfigured, scattered and in shambles, with the projections of the teachers nowhere to be found.

“What in the world?” some of the participants comment, astonished at the destructive capability of Damian’s technique.

“And we’re supposed to fight against stuff like this in the tournament?” Sienna says still in shock.

“The projections are no longer here, seems it is over,” Dayve says.

“Definitely,” Damian adds, confidently. “Let’s move,” he suggests.

“Sure, however,” Tesla interrupts. “You also destroyed the boat we were supposed to use!!!” she yells.

“What a show off,” Erraz says with a sigh.

“Hey hey, I saved us here. I’m not the villain here,” Damian reacts.

“Next time leave the planning to Dayve and I, will you?” Tesla responds and sighs.

“Hey!!!” Damian yells. “I actually planned for that you know,” he adds. “May?” he says.

“Yeah yeah,” May replies.

She stretches her hand at the vast body of water, a ship slowly rises from the middle of the vast body of water and begins approaching the participants.

“See…I planned for it,” Damian says, pointing at the incoming ship.

“Serena, did you see that?” Kiiara inquires, nudging Serena.

“Huh?” Serena responds.

“That Damian’s style, it ruptured every technique that was sent into that darkness just like how there’s earthquake, he caused lightning, fire, water, air whatever it was, to burst and shatter. That’s what made the explosion so tremendous,” Kiiara explains.

“Wow, you could see all that? That’s amazing. Nevertheless, Damian’s technique, quake style, is quite frightening,” Serena responds. “Those are the kind of stuff we’ll be facing in the tournament. That’s what makes it exciting,” she adds as she walks with Kiiara towards the ship which has just arrived.

“Hoo, that Kiiara has quite the observation and analysis skill. She has good eyes and is probably one of the best at fusion here. Fascinating, let me see how far she goes,” Damian says walking behind the twins.

“Quite the power move you pulled back there. Why exactly have you been hiding your talents?” Dayve says to Dubnet, as they both walk towards the ship.

“Who knows,” Dubnet casually and calmly replies, stretching his body a little.

“Speaking of which, you also didn’t pull your greatest skills,” Dubnet says.

“Well, you know why. It’s not suitable for the type of battle we had,” Dayve replies.

“What are you saying? It was very suitable,” Dubnet calmly responds.

“Not really, it would have affected everyone and in a way, given the other teachers a slight advantage. Besides, I wanted to go full throttle against Hachi before you powered up and Damian came through,” Dayve replies.

“Well that battle is over, we showed those teachers eh?” Borro happily celebrates.

“For a projection of twenty percent where even Deva didn’t move much, aren’t you a little bit too happy?” Tesla replies Borro, folding her arms.

All the participants are now on board the ship and it starts moving to the exit of the event. Kevine stands at the edge of the ship looking back at the destruction caused by Damian.

“That is no longer student level. Tesla was able to flawlessly draw a quick plan, execute it with precision and launch a powerful attack so fast I could barely see it. Now, this guy comes and changes the entire landscape of the battleground. Are these people even humans?” he thinks to himself.

“So…the tournament is next,” Kiiara says to herself, intensely looking forward with her bright blue eyes.
