The FBI collected samples from the area surrounding the two deceased men, hoping to find traces of the killer’s DNA. Everyone believed the results would reveal the truth quickly.

They did come quickly — but not in the way anyone expected.

Zynex sat quietly as the report was read. His hands trembled, his heart pounding louder with every second. Then the room fell into complete shock.

No DNA of the killer was found.

“It isn’t Hatron,” Blanki said firmly to the caller on the phone.

“These people are becoming more intelligent.”

Before anyone could even process the results, chaos erupted.

A breaking news report flooded the city’s screens.

         “Government official’s son suspected in the deaths of two innocent men.”

The words spread like wildfire. One lie turned into countless rumors within minutes.

Blanki’s face darkened with anger. Without saying another word, he stormed toward Zynex’s room.

             “What did you— what?” Blanki said, his voice shaking in disbelief 😲

“No wonder I was suspicious about the question you asked me this morning…”

He sighed heavily.

Zynex panicked.

        “Dad, please! It wasn’t me. This is all a misunderstanding!”

But Blanki didn’t ask for explanations. Hurt, confused, and furious, he grabbed his keys and took Zynex straight to the police station.

As they drove, Blanki’s phone rang.

It was his medical doctor — Dr. Romil.

Dr. Romil was a man with small, sharp eyes. His voice carried confidence, even in tense moments.

        “Wait,” Dr. Romil said urgently. “I think they misunderstood the results. Ask them to re-check it.”

“In fact, Zynex would never do such things.”

The drive felt endless.

When they finally arrived at the station, the place was overflowing. Police officers struggled to control the crowd. News reporters from every corner of the city had gathered, cameras flashing nonstop.

Zynex lowered his head. Shame burned his face.

This wasn’t how things were supposed to go.

Now he stood at a crossroads.

Should he confess to protect the truth…

or stay silent and protect the ones he just met a night.
