No Heaven For Monsters: Redux

Chapter 13: Starshine in Moons

Chapter 13: Starshine in Moons

Feb 01, 2026

12 Days Until The Grand Reprisal

“Miles Phillips of Asaldom is competing?” Thidos asked, he was speaking with the other gods- the adolescent Eliza and the one buried in shadow.

“Yes that is right, your mistreatment of him clearly shows the motivation for it.” The shadowy figure spoke, uncloaking themselves to reveal their identity as– Medea. Dark skin, white eyes contrasted with his muscular physique and scar-filled body, their hair slicked back and blue.

“I hope he falls under my terrain,” his tongue flowing all the way out his mouth as he licked his entire body over and over again, “He could work as a great monsiaer.”

“Silence please,” Eliza kindly whispered– her tone elegant but apathetic, “Thidos, anyone with a brain would leave your grasps. One of your saints is gone, nobody is even looking for her. You then embarrassed Miles Phillips- leading to his obvious resentment of you. Gabriel got embarrassed, Amarze returned and we still can’t find the fifth angel anywhere. Your guild lies in ruins.”

Thidos nodded. His appearance was Xeras and he began to speak, “I even let my child die due to the Imp,” tears started to form, “Who would follow my command? But, this is all trivial if they cannot even pass the contest to choose.”

Medea began to speak, “I’ve made the most exciting events for a mortal to take place in- regardless if you are a goblin, Balaterian, Medean or an Invalian survivor.” He laughed pointing at Thidos’ face. “There will be a lot of murder, fun for us and the ones who decide to stay. Now Thidos, have you thought about Sir Pendragon’s or Adolla’s departure?”

“They wouldn’t leave.” Thidos hastily spoke, stuttering a little.

“Are you sure?” Eliza gracefully talked, “Adolla has the potential to surpass you and Pendragon sees Miles as a brother. At this rate, you won’t have anyone with you.”

The doors barged open.

“He’ll have me.” Amarze coldly spoke, walking into the room- defying the Gods. “I’ll stay, my buddies will stay and that is all we need.”

“Yes,” Thidos spoke as his elegance rejuvenated, “We do not need weaklings, we conserve the strong and they become stronger.”

Omalga is ruled by Gods, Angels, Saints, and history written by the victorious.

Then there is the Imp.

A nameless killer whose existence threatens divinity itself, the Imp leaves ruin in his wake. Not because he wants to rule, but because the world refuses to let him exist quietly.

As Gods maneuver for control, Saints hunt for redemption, and mortals chase ascension at any cost, the line between justice and atrocity collapses. Memories are altered. History fractures. Even death begins to lose meaning.

This is not a story about heroes.

It is a story about what happens when monsters refuse to stay buried.

(Told through multiple perspectives, No Heaven for Monsters is a grimdark fantasy about power, faith, identity, and the lies that hold reality together.)
