After chasing Gilbert a bit, Sophia is now walking home alone in a daze, still shocked about the news she received about Regina and her brother, Soren. She can’t believe that they’re dating. `Like when did this happen? Today? Yesterday? Last week? When!?`

Sophia finally snaps out of it when she hears someone yelling an advertisement for a shop nearby. Curious, she approaches the business. It’s a cafe that she’s never seen before. Sophia walks up to the employee handing out flyers. 

“Is this place new?” She asks the worker.

“Yes’m we just opened up last week! You should definitely give it a try! Here, have a coupon!”

“Oh, thanks!” Sophia takes the coupon and reads it. `30% off one latte.`

Sophia thinks for a moment and decides to go ahead and go on in to try it out.

Heading through the doors, Sophia is hit with a big burst of cold air. It sends a shiver down her spine. `brrr` 

She walks up to the counter but is stopped in her tracks when she sees a beautiful girl working behind the counter. The girl has short honey gold hair and amber eyes. She has a small frame, and cute round features on her face. Big eyes and a small nose. Sophia instantly starts to feel nervous as she gets closer and closer to the girl. 

Sophia finally reaches the counter and the barista speaks, “Well, good afternoon! What can I get ya?” Her smile is radiant. 

“U-um” Sophia stumbles over her words, “one v-vanilla iced l-latte please.” 

“Alrighty sweets! Go on ahead and have yourself a seat. I’ll bring it on out to ya when I’m finished with it, alrighty?”

“O-okay.” Sophia goes and sits at the nearest table, her face is hot from embarrassment. She looks over at the barista making her drink. She’s breathtaking. Not to mention the southern accent, she’s the whole package. 

After a few minutes the cute barista comes over to Sophia's table with her drink. “Here ya go, and here’s a lil promotional item we’re handin out today. On the house!” It’s a chocolate chip cookie. “And some napkins, just in case” She gives Sophia a wink and walks away.

Flustered, Sophia goes to grab her coffee but ends up spilling some on the table. She quickly goes to grab some napkins to clean up.

While reaching for the napkins, Sophia notices something written on the napkin at the top of the stack. It’s a phone number!

Sophia looks at it and then looks over at the barista. The barista is looking back at her and gives her a little wave. Sophia's face turns red. `Did she give me her number? No way! This is not happening right now! She gave ME her number!` Sophia puts the napkin with the number on it in her bag and  uses the other napkins to clean up her mess. 

She proceeds to quickly drink her coffee, sneaking glances at the barista every so often. The barista doesn’t seem to look back in her direction from what she can tell. `Maybe I’m looking at the wrong time?` Sophia thinks to herself. She tries not to think too much into it. Sophia focuses on finishing her drink. 

Once finished Sophia brings her dishes up to the counter. She briefly looks up at the barista to say thank you and she sees her smiling. This gives Sophia a scare and her face turns red again. Sophia then sees the barista make a  `call me` sign with her hand and proceeds to get back to work. This makes Sophia giggle as she walks out of the cafe.
