The fight went on, Lukas staying in the back and shielding the Princess while she struck forward with her sword.

After blocking another attack, Lukas spoke quickly.

“Fall back,” he said. “I’m about to release a powerful spell.”

Sensing the shift in mana, Sofie and Marco regrouped as well.

Lukas flew up into the air and cast the same spell he had used against Aron.

Light Creation Magic: Thousand Arrows.

He fired a single arrow—
and in an instant, thousands followed, raining down from above.

Sofie immediately formed a water barrier, reinforcing it as Marco enhanced it with his gravity magic.

They managed to defend against the attack, but it took a heavy toll. Both of them were wearing out.

So were Lukas and Princess Elisabeth.

Lukas turned to her. “Take care of Sofie. I’ll handle Marco.”

He fired a concentrated beam of light at Marco.

Marco barely pulled away in time, but Lukas had succeeded in separating them.

Princess Elisabeth now faced Sofie alone.

Marco smirked. “Don’t think you’re winning as easily as last time.”

Lukas smiled in response.

The battle continued, and Lukas slowly began to gain the upper hand.

Then—

Out of nowhere, Sofie unleashed the spell she had once used against Edward.

Water Magic: Dragon Water.

Lukas felt the surge instantly.

“Get out of the way!” he shouted to the Princess.

He tried to move toward her—but Marco’s gravity magic seized him, slamming him up and down midair.

The water dragon struck.

Princess Elisabeth was sent flying and barely managed to stay on her feet.

Sofie staggered as well—she was clearly running low on mana after defending against Lukas’s light magic.

At that moment, Lukas activated another spell.

Light Magic: Massless Body.

His body lost all sense of weight, allowing him to move freely and at extreme speed.

Marco and Sofie froze.

They had never seen such a spell before.

In an instant, Lukas reached the Princess, pulled her close, and healed her.

She stood again, ready to fight—but Lukas himself was now visibly low on mana.

Princess Elisabeth swung her sword, releasing an anima force.

Marco blocked it with a gravity shield, but his expression darkened.

They had no way to heal.

Knowing this, Marco decided to use the spell he had once shown in the guild hall.

Gravity Magic: Divine Force.

The spell reduced the gravity beneath his feet, launching him into the air at extreme speed while granting him full control over the gravity around others.

He lifted Sofie and Lukas into the air—
then slammed them down.

The ground cracked as they were driven into it.

As a precaution, Marco pulled them back up—

But Lukas had vanished.

Marco’s eyes widened as he searched frantically.

Then he looked up.

High above the arena, Lukas was already gathering mana.

The crowd gasped—they hadn’t even realized Lukas had reached the sky.

Lukas raised his hand.

A massive beam of light tore through the air toward Marco.

Marco responded instantly, ripping chunks of earth from the ground and compressing them into sharp, spear-like forms, while raising a thick earth wall in front of himself.

The spells collided.

But the light magic overwhelmed everything in its path.

The earth shattered.

Marco collapsed.

Silence fell.
