I'm still not sure how I feel about the speech bubbles turning blue when he's wearing the mask. I haven't forgotten what happened when they were kids and played with the blue dye; his voice turned blue too and Anlil got really scared. Maybe it's to represent how she feels about the ara, but maybe there is something else at play too, hmm...
