Poor kid. She's got so many conflicting feelings. There's a lot I could say about Chiaki and everything she's working through, but I don't trust myself not to say too much. So I'd rather hear what you're thinking with that.
What I will comment on is the last panel, where Bonnie points out how sure she is that someone likes her here. She's, of course, referring to Nagisa. Bonnie's already been very clear that she's rooting for the two of them.

To be fair, it’s not hard to get an idea of chiaki’s headspace here.
For all her want to go back to her world, it’s only Fumiko that’s she’s so adamant on it. To her, she’s probably seen as a nobody and a burden otherwise given these flashback images. Here at least she has a group of kids who genuinely enjoy having her around…… some more strongly than others….. and it’s not so dissimilar to her world that the adjustment presents an issue ( biggest issue is gonna be the written language)
In a way, probably the hardest thing to admit is that she’s happier here despite lacking the more familiar things and the bigger threats
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
