Taym was sitting at the porch back at the Fortunate Kingdom right before the ladies' departure-Sheewa, Vera and Tiger; sipping his American coffee as Vera sat right next to him. Taym looked out of shape- all depressed and hollow since he was missing Ward much. "What is it, Taym?" Vera was concerned all of a sudden.
"My son, Vera.." Taym broke in tears, as he sat his coffee aside when he trembled. "My son."
"Take it easy Taym-it's about time." She wipes his tears with both of her hands, as she sympathized with him.
"When will the time ever come?!" He exploded while confronting her, and then he stood up and motioned to the foundation hedge. He gazed into the void squeal of the wind when it howled. "Can't you see what I'm going through right here? No one neither understands nor wants to understand what I'm going through!" He broke down in tears again while gasping, by finding it hard to breath. "How am I going to continue my life without Ward? How am I just going to carry on through this despicable manner without him? Why is this happening to me?.." He swallowed his throat harshly.
"Taym.." Vera interrupted, stood up and motioned towards him. She wrapped her arms around him and gave him a strong embrace, as he held her back by not wanting to let go of her own magical warmth. He needed her support more than ever. "We all understand what you're going through. But sometimes you just need to know that bad things happen to good people as well."
"This is just too much, Vera." He shut his eyes as he was disheartened.
"No, for sure that we've all been through the same in our lives. If you take a look around, you won't find someone who doesn't carry a load or has been through tough times. Look at me.." She puts her hands on his face. "I lost my own parents due to a selfish-vengeful man who destroyed our beloved family and shattered them down to pieces." A warm tear dropped from her left eye when she fought back. "We were poor people working at the land of a rich greedy man. My parents looked after the herd while I was picking up the crops at age five. He was after my mother-wanting her so possessively behind my own dad's back. She was much more than loyal to my dad, by loving him the most; dearly and surely. The man urged her to leave dad so she could marry him. She was a gorgeous-looking woman-much more than loving and caring. He tried to attack her once at our house when she declined his offer. After sneaking into the house through the opened door of the garage were my mother was, he spoke to her while threatening her with the gun." She paused.
"Oh, Vera!" Taym understood.
