That’s so sad… I get it’s a «different time» and a fantasy world, but seeing children get hit for no «good reason» at all will always infuriate me (there are no good reason btw, but it’s just even more infuriating when it feels like the child is getting hit when they haven’t even done anything that could warrant punishment or consequences). I also feel so sad that he must be feeling so lonely in his situation regardless of the people who are in his corner, cuz he’s basically trapped by blood and expectations. Even though he has people trying to look out for him there will always be this looming threat overseeing his every move. So Big Brother, George Orwell - 1984 uncomfortable feeling, being surveiled and monitored like that, like he chose that life, when he most certainly didn’t 😭
When the world is shrouded in cold injustice, and not a single glimmer of hope pierces through the clouds, it is worth remembering: the stars shine for us even when we cannot see them. This story intertwines the destinies of characters, their past and their future — all for the sake of finding one’s own path, illuminating it, and never straying from it.
