Well, it’s just a fairy tale anyway.
“And Geo’s not like that. I get what you’re trying to say, but…”
Claire opened her mouth,
wagging her index finger back and forth.
Her voice was serious.
“Bobblehead’s fine. Could’ve been worse.”
Was Claire trying to comfort me?
I couldn’t quite tell what she meant.
“Worse?”
“Bubblehead.”
Not at all.
“That’d be too much, right?
At least he didn’t go that far.”
Not at all.
“He’s still a teacher, after all.”
While Claire was shrugging and focusing on lecturing me,
I moved quickly and slipped one of her shoes off.
Then I hurled it as far as I could.
I had hoped it would land somewhere beyond the field,
but unfortunately it didn’t.
Startled, Claire stopped talking and shouted,
“Ow!! My shoe!!”
If she didn’t want her shoe taken,
she should’ve kept it on properly.
Claire was the one who lost her shoe.
So it was her fault.
Well… there were other reasons too,
but anyway—Claire was at fault.
And my revenge was justified.
What exactly I was taking revenge for
is a secret.
“Are you crazy, Cia?
Why’d you throw it?!”
