So, this may be a pretty dark development for our funny fox boy. It's both very surprising to see him carrying such a weight on his own, and probably somewhat obvious that he was hiding something heavy behind that smile.
Belial and Keegan seem to share some parallels, even. In both of their pasts, some malevolent demon came along, wrecked their lives and went on their way, leaving a broken child behind. In Belial's case, she wants to retain some semblance of normalcy. Even if it's not the life she originally wanted, it's safer to live and work quietly at the Library, than to hunt down the one who did this to her. Keegan, meanwhile, wants payback.
These two may have a lot more to talk about in the future...
But who is this apparently very strong demon? Marchosias can be taken down with "one precise strike," but Keegan needs to meet this one "on their level?"
We have a lot to think about, but next time: something different.
Follows the strange story of Chiaki, a daydreaming otaku who longs to confess her feelings to her childhood friend, Fumiko, and how that's made especially difficult when she gets transported to another world...
