The explanation of why Nagisa has it is probably about as straightforward as you'd think, though her story probably does have a lot of curious omissions. Not so much because Nagisa's hiding something, though; we're quickly learning she's not really good at that (I feel you, girl). Rather, it's more that there may be things she doesn't know either.
Kaminari is a very interesting person, it seems... ;P
