Pokemon Diamond - Random Tuft of Grass?

Ok so, I've never played a Pokemon game before and Pokemon Diamond was my first ever Pokemon game. I was really confused when I saw this random tuft of "grass" sticking out of the ground where there wasn't grass.
Also, yes, I am aware that the clothing is "wrong." It's not wrong, I just took aspects from the girl's clothing and the boy's clothing.

yeah, nintendo has done some interesting stuff with hiding ninjas in plain sight in pokemon games .-. The ones in Sapphire/Ruby/Emerald were also a bit strange o3o
