The one on the left was about 5 feet tall and was also surprisingly skinny for a robot. The robot was also wearing bright pink clothes, so bright, in fact, that it hurt my eyes just looking at it. The robot also had some items on it that were... interesting to say the least. In the robot's right hand was a large black book that had the words "The Arts of Blood" written in blood on its cover, and in its left hand was some sort of large staff that had a green gem on the top of it.
The one on the right was almost the exact opposite of the one on the left. This robot was over 7 feet tall, bulky with full metal plating on most of its body and was wearing all gray clothes with red stripes on them. This robot was armed with somewhat dull weapons. It had a great two-handed ax in one hand along with a double-barrel shotgun in the other and two long swords on both sides of its hip. "Yeah, that shotgun's not piercing my suit.
We both continued walking towards the robots for about 30 seconds until we made it to each other. We stopped once we made it within 5 yards of each other and just stood there staring at each other.
The air was silent for what felt like an eternity, with all of us looking around to see who would make the first move. After a couple more seconds of just standing there, I finally got fed up with the silence and just blurted out the first thing on my mind.
"So, how are you all doing?" I asked the robots. Sebrisha turned her head in my direction like I had asked if apples could get pregnant. She was then about to say something after but got interrupted by the robot's actually answering the question.
"We're doing pretty good," the pink robot answered. I don't know why, but I was surprised that she sounded like a Girl A.I. voiceover in her mid-20s.
"Wait, you two can talk?" I and Sebrisha asked at the same time.
"Of course we can talk. What made you think we couldn't?" the robot in dark gray clothes said.
"Because your kind usually can't talk unless you're equipped with advanced hardware, and even then, it doesn't explain your condition," Sebrisha said with a straight face and no remorse.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa, your kind is crazy." The gray robot said with a laugh.
"Yeah, that was pretty wild, Sebrisha. I'm not even going to lie," I said while looking at her sideways.
"Wait, no, that's not how I meant to say it. I meant you people usually aren't sentient enough to have a normal conver-," Sebrisha tried to explain but stopped in the middle of it because she just noticed what she had said a bit too late.
"You people," Both the robots shouted in shock as both clenched their weapons. Oh my god, how is she making things worse on complete accident?
"Wait, that's not what I meant to say. I meant you guys were working in the factory back then, and some of you all couldn't even form an actual sentence," Sebrisha said.
"Shut up," I yelled while getting in front of her as the robot's left staff began to glow a lime green color.
"I apologize on her behalf, sir. You see, none of us get out much. We" I tried to explain, only for the gray robot to pull out his shotgun and shoot at me. I put both of my hands up and blocked the shot with the best of my ability but still got knocked off balance due to the force of the slug.
"Apologies accepted, but we all still came down here to fight now, didn't we?" The grey robot laughed as he holstered the shotgun in his pouch on his back. Sebrisha then pushed my back to help me regain my balance.
"Why does this revenant even want to kill us?" I growled while lifting my scythe, getting ready to leap at him.
"That revenant up there is Master Abel, for your information, and I doubt he actually wants to kill you because if he did... he would have done so already," the pink robot said as she began charging up a spell.
"So, try to make it entertaining for the master, and he will most likely just let you go. The grey robot had said as he lifted his great axe. Alright, there goes the peaceful negotiation; now it's time for the signal.
"NOODLES," I screamed at the top of my lungs. Both of the robots froze in place due to the confusion of what I screamed, most likely trying to make sense of it.
"What?" the pink robot said before a bolt shot her book out of her hand. As soon as the book hit, Sebrisha then threw a mixture at the pink robot. The mixture hit the robot on the chest, then ice started spreading over the robot rabidly, causing the robot to now be completely immobilized. Sebrisha then proceeded to throw another mixture at the pink robot; this time the mixture actually exploded like a firework when it hit the robot, causing the robot to fly across the trash hole and land in one of the trash piles.
"Oh, come on, Washer, how did you let them steal your butt like 3rd base like that?" The gray robot laughed as he began to charge at us. As soon as I saw that, I then proceeded to pull out my cross and began chanting in my head to cast a spell. As soon as the robot got within 3 yards, I cast my incantation.
"BLINDING FAITH," I yelled out as gold light burst out of the cross in the gray robot's direction. The gold light managed to blind the robot but not stop him from charging at us; the robot then proceeded to go for a chop. I and Sebrisha easily dodged the poorly aimed attack. I then cranked my scythe back and proceeded to hit the gray robot in its chest with a rising strike.
The scythe didn't pierce through the robot, though, due to his tough iron plating, but it caused him to somewhat stumble. He then backstepped a good distance after the strike and proceeded to check the place where the scythe hit him.
"Did you really yell out the spell you just used before you had cast it?" Sebrisha, she said while running at the book. The pink robot dropped it and quickly picked it up to keep it from the robot.
"Yeah," I said while charging at the grey robot with my scythe ready to strike.
"Why?" Sebrisha asked as she raised her gauntlet up, and a blue glow started lighting up in its palm.
"Because casting a spell is easier when you yell out its name... and it also looks cooler," I yelled as I went for an overhead strike. The grey robot managed to dodge my attack, proceeded to hit me with the poll of the axe to stagger me, and then attempted to hit me again with a chop.
I managed to block the attack with the poll of my scythe, but the force was so strong and heavy that it brought me down to my knees. I was already struggling to block the robot's attack, but due to me losing concentration on the scythe during this, I completely dropped the scythe, which had gotten too heavy for me to hold. I then quickly managed to catch the robot's arm with my shoulder, grabbed his arm, and proceeded to barely judo throw the robot over my shoulders.
The robot hit the ground with a hard crash. He hit the ground so hard that he managed to sink into the trash floor.
"Um, you might want to lay off... whatever you're eating, man," I said while hitting the robot with a knee to the face while he was still down. After I hit him with the knee, I realized that none of the hits I hit him with had affected him. Before I could go for another hit, a blue light that looked like a small, slow-moving shooting star hit the robot on the side of the head. I looked over at Sebrisha, whose palm was fading of the blue light due to her casting a spell.
"Wait, you're a mage," I said in shock while doing my best to hold the robot down on the ground.
"I'm a little bit of a sorceress," she said while reaching in her bag again. The robot I was holding managed to break my grip on him with pure ease; he proceeded to grab one of my horns and slowly lifted me up off the ground as he began to stand up. I attempt to pry the robot's grip off my horns, but his hands wouldn't budge.
"Well, that's enough of that," The robot said as he let my horns go and punched me square in the chest. The punch was so strong that it
knocked most of the air out of my lungs and almost made me drop to a knee. The robot then proceeded to go for another swing with his axe, and this time the axe managed to hit my right arm.
The hit made me hit the ground face first, eating all types of trash we were walking by, and that's when I had a good idea while I was in pain. I dug my arms into the trash below and quickly felt for a useful item that could help in this moment. The robot then grabbed my horn and lifted me back up, but before it did, I was able to grab a spray bottle.
"I hope you've got more tricks up your sleeves than just that one spell, Fr-," The gray robot said as I interrupted him by spraying green spray paint on his face. I only managed to get half of the robot's face before he quickly let go of me and guarded the rest of his face before I could cover any more. The robot tried to wipe the green paint off his face, but before he could, I managed to grab a large piece of metal from the trash floor and cracked it against the robot's knee. The robot then dropped due to the hit knocking him off balance. The robot managed to catch himself from falling down completely, then tried to swing his axe at me again only to receive another flying knee kick to the face before he could do it.
The robot fell on his back after the hit, and before he could even recover, I jumped on the robot's chest, picked back the large metal pole, and was going to cave the robot's head in, but I stopped.
Am I really going to kill someone? I know I destroyed a bunch of robots a few minutes ago, but those things didn't have a conscience. This is an
actual person I'm attempting to bash right now.
"Hmm, oh, this must be your first real fight, Freak," The gray robot said as he punched me off him and began getting back up on his feet.
"Well, pro tip, Freak: hesitation during a fight almost always leads to death," The grey robot said in somewhat of a regretful tone.
"Pazzo, move out of the way, I'm going to hit with an," Sebrisha was saying before Interrupted by a green explosion that sent her flying.
"Hey," I said while hearing the gray robot quickly approach me. While I looked away, I put my metal pole up just in time to be able to guard against the kick the gray robot hit me with. But the kick was so strong that it completely bent the metal pole.
"And always keep tabs on your main opponent, Freak," The grey robot said as he was standing in front of me and lifting back up his axe. I began to get up and looked in the direction of where that green explosion came from, and, well, guess robots should be durable due to them being made of metal. The pink robot that Sebrisha sent flying across the trash hole somehow managed to recover despite being frozen and blown up.
"Finally, you got up. What were you even doing over there, sleeping?" The robot said as he turned his head to look at him. As soon as he turned his head, I quickly ran to the right and quickly scooped up the scythe dropped as the grey robot was distracted and made a run for it over a trash hill in the opposite direction of where Sebrisha flew. There is no way I can fight both of them at the same time; it's best for us if I can at least split them up.
"Cleaner, you go after the Freak, and I'll go after the Owl. That spell I hit her with shouldn't have killed her that easily." Washer said to the grey robot before she walked in the direction that Sebrisha flew in, I won't be able to beat this guy in an open field. Let's see how good he is in a crowded area.
