Hello! If you made it to the end here then thank you so, so much for taking the time out of your day to read the first chapter of my comic. It means a lot to me. When I was about 12 years old, I decided I wanted to be a mangaka. Instead of doing my work at school, I would carry round a tiny, A6 notebook with plain paper, and I drew my manga in it. That manga has long since been abandoned, but I still have the notebook as a sentimental piece, and the dream to tell a story never really went away.
That is to say, 12 years on from that, I'm taking the brave step to put my most ambitious project yet out there. I feel determined to see Execute Protocol to its' end, and I really hope you feel compelled to join me on this journey! Execute Protocol is a passion project for me and a love letter to many media I hold dear to my heart - for that reason, it will always be free to read online.
Chapter 1 does not have a release date yet, mainly because I'm going on holiday abroad right after this debut. Really, I probably should have waited to post until I'm home, but I just couldn't hold Protocol back any longer.
This chapter is special in its colour, and future chapters will be mainly in black and white so that I can work much more quickly, and as a homage to all the manga I've read over the years.
If you follow me on my social media - instagram being the best one - you'll be able to hear updates on the next chapter and find out the release date once I know it!
Thank you for reading, and I really appreciate you checking out my beloved passion project. It means more to me than you realise!
All things must stay balanced: good and evil, darkness and light, division and unity, and most importantly: chaos and order.
It's the work of supernatural beings known as demons and angels to maintain the balance of the universe, but is there more to their societies than first meets the eye? Can authority ever be trusted? Do Kings really lie? And.. is Protocol, the Internet Demon, really guilty of murder!?
