Stanford Prison experiment is that a... reference to something?
is it...
Psychology yap time...?

The Stanford Prison Experiment also referred to as the Milgram Prison experiment was conducted in 1971. It emulated the environment of a prison- or at least 'tried to'
It was supposed to last 2 weeks. But only lasted 6 days. This was due to the conditions.

There was no standardised rule which indicated a sort of code of honour for guards. You could either have a guard who is mean to you or one who is nice. The nice ones would generally quit the study early.

The main findings were that by enforcing authority over people by creating a hierarchy (in group) those in the less favorable position will lose a sense of 'free will' and 'identity' (out group).

It was an unethical study. And sets a benchmark of what NOT to do.
