Bobby Braw Fire and Ice

Away Fluvaria

Away Fluvaria

Mar 30, 2026

An entire week had gone by since the hangout at Hannah's place. The Braw Agents still had one more week to get everything they needed, but they had already bought a lot of supplies. Earlier in the week they informed Edward, Elsa, Oliver and Beth about the trip. Surprisingly, all four of them agreed to come along. Edward and Beth joined the desert group, while Elsa and Oliver joined the tundra group.

As of now, Bobby, Hannah and Edward were at Yours Truly, one of the biggest and most popular supermarkets in Fluvaria. They had two trolleys and both of them were very full. One of them contained various items, like fruit, vegetables, meat, bread and first aid supplies. The other was being filled with nothing but water. They were currently in the refrigerated aisle, and Edward was grabbing as many six pack water bottles as he could.

"Edward, do we really need that much water?" asked Hannah. "We're going to a desert, we're going to run out of water quickly if we don't buy in bulk," answered Edward. "I know, but this just seems a bit excessive," replied Hannah. "Besides, we're going to waste so much plastic if we do this,". "I think we should bring our own bottles and refill them whenever we need to," she added. "Where are we going to find water?" asked Edward. "How about this, we buy two of those six packs, so we have three bottles of water each," proposed Bobby. "While we use them, we can look for a more sustainable water source," he added. Hannah and Edward agreed with the idea and decided to go through with it.

Meanwhile, Narvy, Rita and Elsa were at Crag, a mountain equipment shop in a different part of Fluvaria. They were all looking at various items, trying to figure out which ones would be the most useful. "Should we buy this?" asked Rita while holding an ascender. "Yes, that would be very handy, let's find a rope to go with it," replied Narvy.

During the conversation, Elsa noticed a woman in another aisle. She had ginger hair in a disturbingly familiar hairstyle, she even had a matching sense of fashion. For the next few seconds, all Elsa could do was stare and drown in her disorienting thoughts. "How is she already out?", "Why would she need to come to this shop?", "Does she somehow know what we're up to?". Eventually, the woman turned around to leave the aisle. Elsa finally got to see her face and was relieved to see that it wasn't Julia. While she looked similar from the back, her face was shaped nothing like her aunts. After that, Elsa shrugged it off and pretended to be in sync with the shopping haul. "There's some over there," she commented while pointing to the wall behind her.

At that moment all three of them walked to the rope display. "Thanks for coming on this mission," said Narvy. "No problem, I think it's going to be fun," replied Elsa. "Are you feeling better after our last mission?" asked Narvy. "Yes, I am," answered Elsa. "It's just hard to let go of someone you've idolized since a young age." "I always thought Julia meant well, but then she organized a money laundering scheme and tried to kill me on Bytari's tallest building." "That stuff didn't sit right with me, so I needed some time to myself." "Now that I've taken time to get over the past, I think I'm in a good enough headspace to start doing missions again," she explained. "That's great, I'm glad you recovered," replied Narvy. "Besides, we're going to The Moonlands, I doubt any of my relatives would be there," added Elsa.

"Now where's that rope," muttered Narvy while investigating the selection. He wanted one with a hook already attached to it. Eventually, he managed to find what he was looking for. According to the product tag, it was sixty meters long. "What else should we get?" asked Rita. At that moment, Narvy scanned the entire shop with his eyes, thinking of other items to buy.

"What about those thermoses," suggested Rita. "Good idea, I already have a thermos, but you and Elsa can get one," replied Narvy. At that moment, the two of them walked to the thermos display. They were available in all kinds of different colours and sizes. After thinking about it for a short time, Rita and Elsa decided to get a purple one and a green one respectively. "What should we put in these?" asked Elsa. "Warm things, like soup, coffee, tea, etc," explained Rita. "I can't wait to drink hot coffee out of this, while going on a scenic walk," commented Elsa. The two of them returned to Narvy, who was still carrying the ascender and rope. At that moment, they went to the counter and paid for everything.

Throughout the following week, everyone kept their mind on supply shopping. Even though a ton of supplies had already been purchased, The Braw Agents still investigated their stock daily, to make sure they hadn't forgotten anything. When they weren't shopping together, everyone was doing the same thing daily. Bobby was making visits to The Trooth Booth, Narvy was building a second base, Hannah was reading through her book, Edward was working out, Rita was going on long walks, Elsa was working on her new winter coat and Oliver and Beth were relaxing.

Eventually, the day finally came. Two weeks after the visit at Hannah's place, everyone met up at The Engineering Club. The base from The Ball of Honour trip was still intact and ready to go. Alongside it was the new base that Narvy created for the mission. "Sorry it's not as fancy as the other one." "I only managed to find a bus six days ago, so I just had to take the seats out, and replace them with appliances,". "I didn't have time to repaint the exterior or do anything extra," explained Narvy. "That's okay, it will probably be fine," replied Bobby. "Who's taking which base," asked Hannah. "I think we should take the new one," answered Bobby. "The old one probably has insulation and they're going to need that," he explained. "It does," commented Narvy.

Just then, he grabbed the telecoin out of his pocket. "Are we ready to go?" asked Narvy. "Yes," replied everyone simultaneously. "Okay, let's do your group first," announced Narvy as he walked towards the desert group. Bobby, Hannah, Edward and Beth all went inside the new base. Shortly after, Narvy knocked on the door, and Bobby opened it. "Here's what you need to do." "Press the telecoin and take your group as well as the base to The Sunlands." "During the teleportation process, everything will glow and at the end, you will feel a shock in your body." "Once you feel it, throw the telecoin away from you," explained Narvy. "Don't I need the telecoin for the whole process?" asked Bobby. "When we escaped Harold's castle, I let go of the telecoin just before we vanished and we had no problem," stated Narvy. "I think this will work just fine," he added.

At that moment, Bobby pressed the button on the telecoin. The base and everything inside of it got shrouded in a luminous glow. While this was happening, Bobby held onto the telecoin, waiting for the shock. A few seconds later, he felt it surge inside of him. He threw the telecoin at Narvy, hoping he would catch it or at the very least not lose it. Shortly after, the base disappeared, not leaving any trace of its former presence.

"Did it work?" asked Rita. "I think so," replied Narvy. "Now it's our turn," he announced after picking the telecoin off the ground. Narvy, Rita, Elsa and Oliver all went inside the other base and closed the door tight. Elsa had been carrying her new coat the entire time and finally decided to put it on. It was a long brown coat with many pockets and a hood. Although it was store bought, she had made some modifications to it. Those being the beige fur trim around the hood and the green strings in the zipper loops. "Are we all ready?" asked Narvy. "Yes," replied everyone else simultaneously. "Alright, three, two, one, let's go," declared Narvy before pressing the telecoin button. Shortly after, everyone and everything inside the base turned into a glowing monochrome object. After a few seconds, all of the luminous objects vanished into thin air. The Engineering Club had no evidence to suggest that something like this had taken place.
