Bobby Braw Fire and Ice

Almost Complete

Almost Complete

Mar 30, 2026

After a good night's sleep, Narvy, Rita, Elsa and Oliver woke up in their immobilized bus. Despite the fact morning had just come, the sky was still dark and hazy. The grey clouds overcast the horizon, making it and the snow look like they were coming together to form a physical gradient.

Oliver immediately approached the heat pump and turned it on, hoping the warm air would swarm the base quickly. "You three should have some breakfast, you'll probably need your energy today," he instructed. Narvy strolled to the kitchen and examined the rations they had left. He found a noodle cup, but his excitement swooped into disappointment when he discovered it was just an empty cup. There were still a couple of protein bars Rita packed for the trip. Narvy decided to try one, thinking Rita wouldn't mind. Unbeknown to everyone, she and the rest of the Braw Agents would have something greater to worry about than a missing snack.

Elsa was sitting on a couch watching TV. Her body was wrapped up in a thick blanket she had bought downstairs. The program she was watching was some kind of fashion related sitcom. Elsa had never heard of this show, nor did she think it was that amazing, but she was glad to have something occupy her. Yet again, a TV within the Braw Agents earshot halted its program to share a news report.

"Breaking News, we are sure you're all familiar with the current weather crisis," stated a news reporter wearing a parka over his suit. "Within the past couple of days, an extreme heatwave has engulfed one half of the world, while a cold snap eclipses the other." "As of right now, the two halves are very close to meeting." "Unfortunately, we don't know what will happen next, nor do we know how to end this predicament." "More on the story as it unfolds."

Narvy grabbed the remote and frantically shut down the TV. "How, how did they, wuh?," he blurted. Rita, Elsa and Oliver heard the news report, they were all just as shocked. "What do we do now?" panicked Rita. "I'll write the other group a message, they might already know about this, but I'm still going to send it just in case," answered Narvy urgently.

Meanwhile, Bobby, Hannah, Edward, Beth and Ezhar were residing in the middle of the desert. Unlike the other group, their base was still functional as a vehicle. They hadn't left their spot since yesterday, due to the lack of an idea where to go next. During a completely random moment, Bobby's phone vibrated, nudging him to see what had been sent. Upon looking at the phone, he saw the message Narvy sent. It explained the news they had heard about on TV and that they were coming to The Sunlands.

As stated in the text message, something popped out of nowhere. It appeared to be a group of four people. They were all glowing in a way Bobby was all too familiar with. After a few seconds the glow vanished, revealing the bodies of Narvy, Rita, Elsa and Oliver. "Thank goodness you came," rejoiced Bobby. "No problem, we missed you guys," replied Narvy in the same tone. "Who's that?" he asked, referring to the unfamiliar person nearby. "I'm Ezhar, I am a shaman who can sense flames from afar." "I helped these guys find the castle in The Sunlands," he explained. "Nice to meet you," responded Narvy.

"How was it in The Moonlands?" asked Edward. "Very cold, but the base was heated so it wasn't that bad," explained Rita. "Unfortunately, it got destroyed by an avalanche yesterday," she added. "Our vehicle is still intact, so that means we did better," taunted Edward. "Nuh uh, we found our castle first, and without a shaman," boasted Rita. "When we got to the castle, the emperor chased us, shot fire spells at us and we still managed to escape," gloated Edward. "We got captured in the other castle," admitted Rita. "But we had Narvy in our group, so we escaped very quickly," she added with much more confidence.

While the others were catching up, Bobby and Narvy were negotiating their plans to stop the two emperors. "Do you know the name of the hillside?" asked Bobby. "Yes, I'm sure it was called Renses Hills," answered Narvy. "I haven't heard of it, but it should be too hard to get to," he added. "Should we go now?" asked Bobby. "Yes, I don't think we have much time," replied Narvy in a serious tone.

He grabbed everyone's attention and explained the plan in full detail. Once he did that, almost everyone agreed to go through with it. "Sorry to interrupt, but I have a shop to run, and I've already found the castle." "Do you mind if I leave?" asked Ezhar. Bobby started to think of everything that could possibly occur in the fight. "The two emperors are probably going to shoot their powers at each other," stated Bobby. "You could deflect them with your powers," he suggested. "I can't create new flames, I can only control ones that already exist," explained Ezhar. "Besides, I'm not exactly a fighter type," he added. "So, does this mean you want to go back home?" asked Bobby. "Yes," confirmed Ezhar.

"We're out in the open desert; how can I get back to Heaterin?." "Perhaps you wouldn't mind if I rode your bus?" he requested. "I have something better in mind," proposed Bobby as he showed a powerful object. "A telecoin? I've heard of them, but I never thought I'd actually get to use one," stated Ezhar with great intrigue. "Do you know how to use it?" asked Bobby. "Yes, you just press the button and go elsewhere," answered Ezhar. "That's right, and when you feel a shock in your body, throw the telecoin away from you," added Bobby. "Don't worry, the teleportation will still work."

At that moment, Ezhar grabbed the telecoin and pressed the button. Everything went smoothly. Just before the process ended, the telecoin was launched out of the glowing shape. Bobby caught it before it could get lost in the thick sand. Before they knew it, Ezhar was gone.

"Should we go to the hills now?" nudged Rita. "Of course," replied Bobby. "Do you have supplies in your base, and can you still drive it?" asked Narvy. "We've got a good amount of stuff in there," claimed Bobby. "I don't see why it wouldn't work, it's not damaged or anything," he added. "Good, at least one of my bases didn't go to waste," relieved Narvy. "What?" asked Bobby. "Nothing, it's just that the other base got destroyed under heavy snowfall," muttered Narvy. "I worked so hard on it," "Once the mission's over, maybe you could polish this one and make it into our new base," suggested Bobby trying to lift Narvy's spirits. "Maybe," considered Narvy. "Are we going to stay in the hills overnight?" interrupted Hannah. "Probably not, but we should take our supplies just in case," explained Narvy

Without wasting any more time, Bobby activated the telecoin. The other Braw Agents came near and joined the glowing action. Everyone's body became engulfed in a magical glow, with light particle strings connecting each other. Shortly after, The Braw Agents vanished from the dry smouldering desert.
