Bobby Braw Fire and Ice

The Lush Greenery

The Lush Greenery

Mar 30, 2026

Within a matter of seconds, the base materialized in the middle of Renses Hills. All of the Braw Agents immediately got out and saw the terrain. It consisted of a sprawling green field that would have been empty, if it weren't for a handful of trees, bushes and shrubs. Unlike the boiling Sunlands or the freezing Moonlands, Renses Hills had a neutral atmosphere. Not making any sweat or get goosebumps anytime soon.

"This is lovely, I'm actually seeing real trees," thought Hannah out loud with glee. "And my feet are surrounded by real grass!" she cried in delight. "Now what, do we just wait?" asked Rita. "I think that's all we can do," answered Bobby. "Do you know how the emperors are going to get here?" he asked as he turned to Narvy. "I honestly have no idea, but we shouldn't worry about that," he replied. "Do you want to walk around this place?" asked Bobby. "I don't see why not," agreed Narvy.

The two of them ventured a short distance from everyone else. They didn't have any plans in mind; they just wanted to kill time. For the next ten minutes, they chatted about trivial things amongst each other.

All of a sudden, something bizarre appeared on the horizon. The pale blue sky appeared to have a fiery orange hue near the ground. As Bobby and Narvy walked closer to it, the hue extended further into the sky. However, when they walked back, it didn't shrink. Bobby and Narvy immediately ran back to the others, knowing what the sky change meant. When they reached the other Braw Agents, they noticed another expanding hue behind them. However, this one was an icy shade of blue.

"Here it comes," muttered Narvy. "Everyone go to the base, we don't know what's going to happen," instructed Beth. Without any kind of arguing, everyone followed her order. Shortly after they closed the door, the transformation completed itself. The once neutral blue sky was now split in half. A muggy orangish yellow side and a frigid blueish grey side. Narvy was peeping out of the window, curious how and when the emperors would come.

Not long after the sky got divided, two people appeared on opposite sides of the field. They looked very strange, their bodies were glowing brightly and neither of them had a face. As expected, the glow vanished to reveal The Fire and Ice Emperors. "Since when did they have telecoins?" scoffed Narvy from afar. "Beth, should we go out and fight them?" asked Bobby. "I wouldn't recommend that, you saw how powerful The Fire Emperor was," she replied. "I think we can handle it, we've dealt with other sorcerers before," reassured Bobby. "You've got a good point, but you know me," worried Beth.

"Nice to see you Issac," taunted Flint. "Ah don't mention it, we both knew this day was coming, it was nice knowing you," retaliated Issac. "Fire melts ice, you know that right," mocked Flint. "Yes, but what is ice made out of?" asked Issac rhetorically. "Water," answered Flint in the same tone. "Exactly, and water always extinguishes flames," confirmed Issac. "We didn't come here to banter, let's get our fight started," announced Flint. "Should you go first or should I?" he asked. "I believe I should make the first move," declared Issac. "I persuaded a village to build a castle for me, and I managed to capture my-," he gloated before getting interrupted.

His argument didn't matter, as Flint slyly conjured a fireball and shot it at his brother, albeit missing the target. "So we're going to settle this the rough way?, I have no problem with that," scoffed Issac. He blasted a long icy spell out of his staff. He meant to freeze his brother, but he simply made a glacier out of a tree. For the next fifteen minutes, the two emperors sporadically shot spells at one another. Throughout their duel, they always stayed within their half of the field. The Braw Agents were watching it all take place from afar.

"This is hard to watch," mumbled Elsa. She enjoyed action, but the fact the two appointments were family members hit too close to home for her. Oliver was also feeling touched by the fight, the events reminding him of his own experiences. "We need to take action and help them," he announced. "Darling, do you see what they're doing to this field?" retaliated Beth. "Sweetie, you were there when Harold unleashed his stone army on Fluvaria," explained Oliver. "If we could get him to change, I see no reason why we shouldn't try with them."

At that moment, Oliver confidently walked out of the base. Bobby came along as a volunteer. They walked across the fertile plan in order to inspect the battle closer. "How can we talk to them?" asked Bobby. "We need to-," explained Oliver before getting interrupted by an indirect fiery blast. He squatted, successfully dodging it. "Wait for the right moment," he finished.

Oliver didn't get to use his strategy, as the two emperors quickly noticed him and Bobby. "How on earth did you get out? I froze the window and the doorframe," asked Issac, completely perplexed. "It wasn't very smart of you to let us keep our supplies," replied Oliver matter of factly. "Looks like we now know who's more worthy," snarled Flint as he blasted more fire at Isaac. "At least I actually managed to capture my group," he snapped back as he threw a cloud of icy mist at his brother. "As for you two, stay out of this," he demanded as he turned to Bobby and Oliver. "I know you two have struggled a lot, but you don't have to do this to each other," liberated Oliver. "We know what we're doing, why do you care so much," scoffed Flint. "Because, I've dealt with someone else in a very similar situation before," he confessed. "It's not too late to change your plan."

Unsurprisingly, Flint didn't take Oliver's words seriously. In fact, he and Issac even dragged Bobby and Oliver into the chaotic fight. The two emperors carried on like usual, but now they were also trying to annihilate their observers. Bobby and Oliver spent the next five minutes doing whatever they could to prevent getting burnt or frozen. Unlike the two emperors, they were able to jump from one half of the field to another. The arena was now a human reenactment of a pinball game.

Eventually, the fight grew even bigger. The other Braw Agents took notice of the commotion and realised they couldn't bystand for any longer. All of them ran out of the base and onto the battlefield. Even Beth was eager to join in. "Honey, do you know how to stop them?" she asked, shattering an ice ball with her whip. "I'm not sure, I'm just waiting for the right time to take action," explained Oliver.

For the next five minutes, it seemed like the opportunity would never come. The two emperors continued to blast spells at each other, while trying to wipe The Braw Agents from the area.

Flint and Issac were still confining themselves in their respective temperature bubbles. They had yet another spell clash and some more arguments. The two of them got quite close, semi-circling each other around the field. Out of nowhere, they decided to take the huge risk of turning their spell fight into a physical one. Flint and Issac spent a short moment tackling each other with what little room they had. All of a sudden, Issac made a critically dangerous move, he accidentally threw Flint into the cold half of the field.
