Not being able to stand the tragic sight, Issac grabbed Flint and threw him across the field. When he re-entered his humid bubble, he took deep relieving breaths, as if he had been trying to hold his breath underwater. "You want to play deadly? I'll give you a deadly fight," announced Flint. He immediately used his restored energy to generate more fireballs. But in the middle of the spell, Issac interrupted him.
"No, this fight isn't worth it," he demanded. Flint looked at him unconvinced. "That's just a tactic to lower my guard, isn't it," he scoffed. "I'm serious, when you tripped into my half of the field, I saw how sick you got." "It reminded me of all the unfortunate times we had growing up, no matter who wins, one of us is going to die." "Do you want to live in a world that's unliveable for your brother? one you know he could never be here for?" pleaded Issac, fighting back tears. "Look, I know our conditions mean we can't be next to each other, but that doesn't mean we have to kill each other for dominance." "I don't want this to be our last moment together, so can we please put an end to this and figure something out later?" he added in a slightly calmer tone.
Flint understood everything his brother told him, but he still didn't comprehend the greater situation. "This isn't a joke?" he hesitated. "No" confirmed Issac. "Very well, I'll take your offer," accepted Flint. "Can we put this behind us?" he asked. "Of course," agreed Issac. For the first time in a long while, the two of them felt glad to be within each other's space. Flint and Issac got together and hugged, needing the act of comfort. They stayed there as long as they could before the opposing temperatures got to them.
Bobby watched the whole thing. The events and words tugging his heart strings. "I'd hate to ruin this reunion, but the world is still split between extreme heat and cold." "It would be great if you could undo it," he requested after snapping back into the real world. "You're right, let us go back to our castles first," replied Flint. "I'll make sure to talk to you on the phone whenever I can," he promised to his brother. "Of course," assured Issac. Once both of them activated their telecoins, they vanished, leaving no traces of their presence behind.
Flint and Issac reappeared in two completely different places, those being their homely castles. Despite this, the two of them had the exact same duty to attend too. They both looked through the many spell sheets in their respective homes, hoping to find a method to undo their climate interference. Eventually they both managed to find the technique at different times. Stalling was the last thing they thought of doing, so they immediately enacted their cleanup.
Over in Renses Hills, The Braw Agents were still standing around, waiting for the two halves to disappear. Bobby and Oliver had faith that the two emperors were doing the task at hand. Eventually, something appeared in the sky. A narrow sliver of pale blue atmosphere, separating the muggy zone from its chilly counterpart. Within a couple of seconds, the blue slit ripped through the orange and grey skies, like holes in an old pair of jeans. It grew and expanded until its neutral temperature and pale colour was the only thing left in the horizon.
"Another mission complete," celebrated Narvy. "Let's go home now." He grabbed the telecoin out of his pocket, but got interrupted before he could activate it. "Wait, shouldn't we see how Fluvaria's doing?" asked Bobby. "I don't want to go there if it's still in one of the zones," he added. Narvy took that as a valid point and decided to search for Fluvaria on his phone. According to the maps, their hometown had been eclipsed under Issac's bubble. The magic had not yet worn off the area.
"Do you want to go home?" asked Narvy to everyone with uncertainty. "Yeah, of course," replied Edward in a heartbeat. "You'll need to wear a thick coat and stand near your heater for a week or two," explained Narvy, challenging Edward's decision. "That's fine, it just means another snowball fight," commented Rita with glee. "There was a snowball fight," asked Edward. "Yeah, between me, Narvy and Elsa," explained Rita. "Once we get home, you're done for," she added confidently. "Nope, not happening," replied Edward. "You haven't even been around snow before," stated Rita matter of factly. "At least, not in a very long time," she added awkwardly.
While everyone chatted amongst themselves, Narvy pressed the telecoins button. He put himself and the others through the same magical process they had partaken numerous times at this point. Before they knew it, they were all out of Renses Hills.
Upon arriving back in Fluvaria, they saw a lot of familiar things. An assortment of flashy modern buildings and historic vintage buildings, an expansive dock near a sprawling blue sea and plenty of plant life. Despite this, they were currently seeing the city like they never had before. Thick blankets of snow hid the ground; remains of an avalanche were making themselves at home on the roofs and cold misty air swarmed the whole place. Not everyone had the appropriate clothing on, so they all ran towards the nearest shelter.
"What do you want to do now?" asked Bobby. "Oliver and I would like to go home, we really need some rest," announced Beth. "Sure thing," encouraged Bobby. "I'm going to take a long hot bath," stated Oliver as the two of them began to walk home. "As for you guys," shivered Bobby as a sweep of freezing air got to him. "What should we do?" he added after returning to a more relaxed state.
"I'm going to get a coffee, and probably a biscuit too," explained Elsa before wandering off. "Which coffee shop?" asked Bobby out of morbid curiosity. "Probably the one in HighQ LowC, that way I can go to clothing shops without having to step into the cold," she answered. Meanwhile, Edward bent down and ripped a giant clump of snow off the ground. He rolled it into a ball and threw it at his sister. "I was waiting for you to do that," grinned Rita. She immediately got down and fired her own snowball at her brother. At that moment, an intense snowball fight broke out. Edward and Rita drifted away from the others, in order to enact their icy game.
"We spent two weeks gathering supplies for our trip, and we spent about a week in our respective biomes." "If the reversal spell works the same as their original spells, the world will take three weeks to go back to normal," analysed Narvy. "Oh dear, that's going to be a bit of an issue," panicked Bobby. "Yeah, living in these conditions is going to cause a lot of problems," replied Narvy. "We need to do something, but what?" asked Bobby. "I think I've got an idea," announced Hannah.
For the next three weeks, Hannah enacted a program she created, with the assistance of the other Braw Agents. It initially went by the name "Cool and Melt". Its objective was to provide food and supplies across Fluvaria, and other parts of the world if possible, in order to cope with the weather conditions. Upon discovering that she couldn't do that, Hannah figured that doing it within her hometown would be the next best thing. She accordingly renamed her program to "Till it Melts".
Many services were part of this program, such as the aforementioned food and supply handouts. But with the modification of the program, some new ideas were created. Such as free snow ploughing in backyards, temporary activities and ship repairs. At one point, Narvy contacted Fluvaria's news station and insisted on providing a live meter on the reversal spells.
The next handful of days were cold for Fluvaria, but not all that bad. Nobody could turn down Bobby's offer to clean the docked ships, or Edward's to shovel all of the snow off their lawn. Rita's idea to turn the skate park into a makeshift ski resort garnered a lot of fans. Elsa's handmade beanies and gloves were much appreciated. Whenever people felt shaky, they could always meet Oliver and Beth in Fluvaria's town hall and receive some hearty tomato soup.
Within the first week, most if not all of the snow had melted. Just because Fluvaria went back to normal didn't mean other places weren't sizzling or freezing. So Narvy kept a close eye on the global weather network until the very end. As expected, the extreme temperatures swept back into The Sunlands and Moonlands once the three weeks were up.
When the day finally came, Narvy turned on the news channel, not expecting the amazing surprise. Upon reading the headline, he became ecstatic. He instantly grabbed his phone and sent messages to the other Braw Agents, informing them about the situation. "Woohoo, another victory is under our belts," exclaimed Bobby. "Sure is," replied Narvy. "What should we do to celebrate?" he asked. "I don't know, let's just enjoy the normal weather for now," answered Bobby. None of the other Braw Agents could turn down his suggestion. After roaming scorching deserts and icy tundras, it was nice to be around a mild climate without worrying about the fate of the planet.
