Hey everyone, got a new poem coming up...in my mind so hopefully I'll get done before next Monday. Made a tribute poem of Frye's comic "Monochrome" hope you like her comic as well as i do.
The lone Soldier (Tribute to Monochrome by Frye)
By Wilson Palacios
I’m walking alone here after my ideals they won’t accept
Couldn’t it be better if we all get along except
In this world we all can’t along because of many walls between
Us like religion, terrorism and media won’t show on screen
I hold my scars as I remember them not showing to others
That I don’t trust since no one will take it, it’s my druthers
To be this close from everyone, no one will take me serious
On what I do or say to them, so I chose to be mysterious
-All my fights I take alone, as I take the road to dethrone
The enemy I can’t atone for his actions well known
In my last day my tombstone should say the unknown
Lone soldier bring the cyclone to protect her very own-
I was once a pawn to your reasons fit with my ideals
The more I was here, the less I care about your appeals
Later I heard rumors of corrupt military hurt the innocent
Been looking on and they are right about his insolent
