You’ve done a good job so far at building suspense!! There’s always been that little thread string us along, and maybe it’s bc I have been following u so I know generally what to anticipate; but you’ve made sure that there’s something off enough to continue reading, to find out what’s wrong.
Also also; loving your art style even more; it’s very…impressionistic? That’s the best way to describe it. It’s so simple and expressive at the same time, and certain things you’ve drawn (like the body and the wave) feel so textured and we can tell what it is without it being done in crazy detail. Tbh the art makes it stand out the most. Never seen a style like yours. Very peakaroni
Zale Corbyn, a detective from the Criminal Anomalies Unit, is tasked with the investigation of a series of seemingly uncorrelated deaths across Scotland.
Their only connection: the testimonies of people having been in contact with the bodies, each reporting disturbing experiences shortly afterwards.
He eventually is led to a peculiar church in a small coastal town, of which he will try to uncover the mysteries while mental illness thins the line between reality and... the rest.
