I'm not really sure where to start this, so I guess an introductory is in order. Hello, my name is Sam Green, and I work on the famous Island Of Sodor! I work with my fireman Erick Lindsey. And we both drive the railway's number 8; who is a GWR 57XX, known as Montague, but everyone just calls him Duck.
Now, I had gone to my grandparents place to find this journal I had seen during my last visit as there's something going on I feel I should write about. A few days ago, we were sitting at a station on Duck's branch called Tidmouth Halt with our morning passenger train around 10:00AM. We suddenly heard a sound above us and looked up to see a group of planes flying overhead with a weird symbol on them none of us recognized. I hope they aren't planning something, because that's all we need. I'll stop writing for now as there's nothing much else to report on, if I see those planes again, I'll be sure to do some writing.

So, we saw the planes again. We were at a station called Callan with an engine named Donald, who is one of Duck's friends. As the planes were flying above, Duck told him that he had seen the planes yesterday, Donald was a bit nervous about this whole thing but Duck reassured him that nothing was wrong, and they might be some tourist group that wanted to explore the island. I'm personally still skeptical of the planes, as usually tourists like to ride the engines, and not fly around in planes. Maybe I'm over thinking things, but I'm not gonna let my guard down. Hopefully there's no more sitings of these planes.

Well, it's been about 2 weeks since I wrote in this, the main reason is that the workload on our branchline has increased due to lot's of ballast trains being needed for the Mainland, and Duck has now been to doing passenger trains and goods trains non-stop for almost the entirety of the day. Me and Erick are both tired out too, but hopefully this will all calm down soon as I want to take a long vacation or even just a few days off to recover.
