July, 24. 1998.

Alright, we decided that we should check the Ffarquhar branch. Mainly because Thomas wants to find Percy and Toby. I also knew about Daisy and Mavis, but I didn't want to make Thomas more worried, so I stayed quiet. After some discussion, the engines that will go is Thomas, Duck, and Stanley. Unfortunately, we have to pull Thomas due to what happened to Bob and Ted. We'll also be taking a flatbed and a truck of coal for protection. Once we were all ready, and we set off up the branch.

As we made our way down the branch, everything seemed normal. We did see a dead Terence who had crashed into a tree and was infected. Thomas felt really guilty as we left, and I honestly can't blame him. I knew this encounter dampened Thomas' spirits, but I spoke up to him assuring him we'd find Percy and Toby; and this made him a little happier.

We passed by Hackenbeck, and it was deserted. There were several people dead on the platform. We didn't bother checking the station because of all the dead bodies scattered along the platform. A few minutes later, we pulled up to one of the junctions that lead to the quarry, and we decided to check it later, since we thought Ffarquhar was more important to check first.

After a few more minutes of traveling, we pulled into the yard at Ffarquhar, and we couldn't believe who was there, it was Percy and Daisy! Thomas was ecstatic to see them and cried tears of happiness when he saw Percy; I don't think I've ever seen him that happy. Once we got settled, they told us their stories.

Percy's Story:

Percy was at the quarry getting a train of stone ready to take down to Tidmouth Harbour. Mavis was also there getting a train of stone ready for Toby to collect later. Just then, a plane and appeared, and the red mist was starting to be dropped! Mavis raced away into the quarry, while Percy with his brakes screeching, sped away down the line! Luckily, the plane seemed to go after Mavis, so Percy had a perfect chance to get away.

Percy hadn't gone this fast in a long time, and he was worried he would derail on the sharp bends along the quarry line, but thankfully not. As he approached a junction, he was sent on the line heading towards Hackenbeck. Once he got back onto the main branch, he was then diverted into the yard! He slammed on his brakes and came to a stop inside the goods shed.

The next day, he left his train at the station and went down the branch bunker first to Ffarquhar. When he got there, he was shocked to find Daisy in the carriage shed. Percy backed into the single birth shed, and he decided to stay with Daisy

Daisy's Story:

Daisy was in her shed at Hackenbeck having a rest before her first passenger train of the day. Toby was with Henrietta at the platform picking up passengers. Suddenly, a plane came along and dropped a cloud of the mist! Toby took off out of there before the mist got to him or Henrietta, but the passenger's weren't so lucky. Daisy quickly bolted out of her shed and raced away towards Ffarquhar in reverse. It didn't take long for her to reach Ffarquhar, and she stopped inside the carriage shed where she stayed until Percy showed up.

We told them of our group at Elsbridge, and they wanted to go, but Thomas said that we should check the quarry to try and find Mavis. I then had a thought. I remembered Percy saying Tidmouth Harbour, and thought we should check it. So, we decided to send Stanley, Thomas, and Percy up to the quarry, and Duck and Daisy will go to the harbour, then we'll meet up at Elsbridge. We said our goodbyes, and set off.

As we headed down the line to the harbour, it was very quiet. We passed by Ryan crashed inside Toby's shed with a train of cattle vans making the groaning noises, so we didn't stick around for long. We soon pulled into the harbour, and it was silent. Duck whistled to see if anyone was there, and we then heard a familiar bell! Puffing towards us was Toby with Henrietta! Duck and Daisy were very happy to see Toby; Toby was glad to see we were alright, and he told us his story.

Toby's Story:

He was at Hackenbeck with his passenger train when the plane appeared. As soon as the cloud started to come down, he sped out of the station as fast as he could and rocketed down the line! 

As he passed by Terence's field, he rang his bell for Terence to make a run for it, but Terence lost control going so fast and crashed face first into a tree! Toby felt really guilty as he was diverted onto the harbour line.

He ran through Crow's Farm Crossing, and he was getting really tired, but knew he had to keep going. Just then, he saw Ryan with a train of cattle vans heading straight for him! Just when he thought it was the end, Ryan was sent crashing into the back of his shed! Toby felt really bad as he raced on. He then passed by Arthur with a goods train on the other line, he didn't pay much attention to him, and kept on going. He soon entered the harbour, and screeched to a halt in one of the sheds. Where he had been ever since. After he was done, we quickly told him about the group at Elsbridge, and he was excited, so we set off immediately.

We arrived at Elsbridge, and we saw that Stanley, Thomas, and Percy hadn't arrived yet. The others were happy to see Toby and Daisy! After they got settled in, we decided that while we wait on Thomas and Percy, we talk about who we have left to find, and we made a list.

Hopefully all these engines are okay.

About an hour passed, and that was when we heard a frantic whistle coming from the branch! This was followed by Stanley speeding through the station with an infected Mavis hot on his bunker! Without thinking, Henry sped away and gave chase! We were all left speechless; I'm just hoping Henry and Stanley will be alright.

Well, Thomas and Percy showed up; Percy's bottom right cheek was partially infected. We asked what happened and he said that when they got to the quarry, they searched around but didn't find Mavis anywhere. When they were near the rear of the quarry, Mavis suddenly came out of nowhere! She bashed into Percy and started to infect him! Stanley then blew his whistle long and loud which attracted Mavis' attention. Both Stanley and Mavis bolted out of the quarry leaving Thomas and Percy behind. After waiting about half an hour, they decided to head back to Elsbridge. Once they were done, I thought we should rest here for a bit before continuing down the ling since we still have a good chunk of day left. I'll have to see what the others think though.

Alright, I talked with the others and we decided to head to Wellsworth in a few groups just in case something were to happen. I'm praying we don't run into anymore of those things along the journey.

We must be super lucky today! Because we found Barry! He was glad to see we were all alright. We asked him what happened and if he had seen anyone else, and he told us his story.

Barry's Story:

He told us he was at Brendam getting a goods train shunted by Salty to be taken to Knapford. Just then several planes started dropping clouds of the mist! Barry didn't even wait for his brakevan to be shunted as he pulled the train away! He passed by BoCo heading for a nearby shed as he left.

Barry sped out of the docks as fast as he could! Just when he was about to reach Lower Suddery, he saw Edward racing backwards with a passenger train heading straight for him! He luckily got switched onto the other track just missing a collision! 

As they passed through Suddery, he saw Gordon with his express heading towards the docks for some reason. After that, he made a dash for Wellsworth. As soon as he reached there, he got uncoupled from his train and went into the shed to hide. The next day, he and his crew woke up early and decided to head down to Brendam to try and find Edward, Salty, and BoCo. So they set off.

They didn't find anyone heading up the branch but when they got to Brendam, they found a huge surprise! There was Edward, Salty, BoCo, Bill, and Ben! They were super happy to see each other! Barry asked where Fergus and Gordon were. Bill said Fergus got infected at the claypits because he broke down trying to get to his shed and got a cloud of mist dumped on him; he and Ben were lucky to escape the Claypits before Fergus spotted them. Edward said that after he arrived and got into a shed with Salty and BoCo, they saw Gordon rush into the docks with his brakes screeching before smashing into the back of a goods shed and being killed on impact.

About an hour later, BoCo said he was going to head up to Wellsworth to try and find anyone, so he set off. A little while later, everyone heard a horn and a distorted whistle entering the docks! It was BoCo being chased by Murdoch who was some sort of beast! Edward's driver jumped out of Edward's cab and quickly switched the points which sent BoCo onto another track, and Murdoch onto the track that Bill and Ben were on! 

They screamed in horror and raced away backwards! Suddenly, they heard a huge crash in the back of the docks followed by several screams! Barry raced away before he could see what happened to the others! They soon arrived back at Wellsworth very shaken up where they've been ever since.

We couldn't believe what we heard. We're definitely heading down to Brendam tomorrow to try and rescue everyone. Hopefully we don't encounter Murdoch, otherwise we're probably screwed.
