An interesting fact about spiders: more than 60 species of spiders from 10 families, such as Thomisidae, Thomisidae, and others, can feed on pollen and nectar, especially when prey is scarce. One species, Bagheera kiplingi, even has an almost entirely “herbivorous” diet.
