Woah, this was huge, the passageways looked like they were carved from deep rock, and were wide enough to fit a house.

Outside of that cramped room the sounds of faint gunfire and yelling were echoing through the hall, bouncing around to the point where it was difficult to determine where they were coming from.

The Officer (a General?) yelled as she peeled off and ran down the passage.

MK could have been difficult, but instead ran after the (General). MK was just hoping to get this done and go home.

Ugh, MKs head felt like it was filled with cotton. They remembered sitting in that chair talking to that PhD student, and the glaring lights of that surgical room, but grabbing any long-term memories was like pushing through molasses.

One of the voices yelling in the distance suddenly cut out.

MK stopped pressing their hand to their head and gathered their focus.

It didn't matter, the only thing that mattered was that people were in trouble and MK could save them. MK could get their thoughts together later when the situation wasn't life and death.
