The melody of waves kiss sandy shores,
People tanning long’ those sandy beaches,
The minds of everybody now restored,
Through microphones, lifeguard voice and speeches.
The cool water is lapping at my feet,
While little kids are standing at the edge,
We sit and have a little snack to eat,
Near the path, right beside the blooming hedge.
Laying in the warmth, sunburn on my back,
As I smell the salty sea, I am calm,
Seagulls walking through squeaky sand leave tracks,
As I massage the sand through both my palms.
Sorrows like a bomb, I need to go now,
I promise I’ll be back and that’s a vow.
