The storm is a giant, booming above my head.
Raindrops fall from the fluffy grey clouds,
Illuminated by the streetlights,
And pattering along the road.
Little kids splash in the puddles,
While birds take shelter under the trees.
I watch through my window as the storm grows,
The storm energy cackles through the night, its energy boiling in my veins
As the thunder roars like a monster.
