I wrote this short story from the prompt "put a character in a genre they usually aren't in". So I made a character like Finn from Adventure time and put that character in a straight up horror. I was inspired by this one horror book/movie called The Ruins, as well as a comic author I like called Skelehime ( http://skelehime.com/ ). So if you liked this, maybe check those out next.
