This illustration was heavily inspired by the AJR song "Bud Like You". I think it fits Tani and Wilbur's relationship perfectly. I'm hoping it's clear what public domain character Tani is based on, haha.
I'm going to be taking a much-needed break from making comics to rest and hopefully make new pages at a more sustainable pace, but have this illustration in the meantime! The comic will resume again in June.
