"So I did run to the forest and hid right there behind the bushes and blended to a tree. I didn't know what to do back then. My pet peeve was if someone found me that I would be just toasted. There was a bounty over my own head. People had no mercy; they kept on digging the ground upside down hunting for my body. Greed has blinded them all.  I never understood such mishap to overcome, so I kept looking for a refuge." She continues.

"Oh, Vera…" Taym sympathized. "I'm so sorry that you've went through that much. If I was only there; I could've soothed you or at least put the pressure off you a bit." He embraced her strongly as tears pumped through her turquoise eyes.

"I was hungry for days and didn't find anything to eat. I couldn't bear with it so I relied on herbs and mints which I've picked from the woods. There was nothing to cook at all. Then, I escaped the lands and crossed the boundaries down to the Desert Sultanate, where I found you. It is more than a refuge to finally find someone as caring as you, Alb, Tammy and Ward. You are more than a family. I was rushed down my veins at first, but then your existence makes my heart melt along with your console."
