Today, the nineteenth of July, Saturday, marks the end of the summer party, which means the family gets to go home finally.

Iris, who spent most of the month working in her own animal shelter, went home from the summer party with nothing but glee and satisfaction.

Alex, who couldn't be bothered to stay for a month at the school despite Isla's terrifying insistence, spent the entire month playing video games in the room he specifically had built inside the cafe.

Theo spent the whole month chatting with fellow engineers, while Isla spent her month with the moms while chaperoning the event, as usual.

Felix still had remaining weeks left to stay at the school after his friends left, so he spent the weeks doing the routine he had perfected.

Ley waited until nine in the evening, leaning his back against the wall at the end of the third-floor staircase, waiting to greet Felix, only to hear an exhausted sigh.

"You sound exhausted," Ley said abruptly, surprising Felix.

"Oh. You're here." Felix paused. "Were you waiting for me?"

"You make it sound like it's unusual for friends to greet their friends after getting home..." Ley said pointedly.

"You're right, sorry," Felix apologizes. "Huh. You look different."

"Yeah, I think I finally hit my normal weight," Ley answered. "Do I look like a normal, healthy teenager now?"

"Wow... You look beyond healthy," Felix exhales in awe. "And you look handsome."

"Huh... why am I only getting compliments now?" Ley said accusingly. "Did I not look handsome before?"

Felix could only express an exhausted and panicked look as he responded with silence towards Ley's accusatory remark.

"Wow... you're still not used to this..." Ley said surprisedly. "Calm down, Felly. It's a joke."

"So... was the month you just had... fun?" Ley said enthusiastically.

"You could say that," Felix flatly answered.

"Ahh..." Ley realized. "It's not your vibe, is it?"

"I guess you could say that," Felix said wearily.

"You... sound worn out. You should rest," Ley said softly.

Felix struggled to recall the question he wanted to ask Ley, but fortunately, his curiosity racked his brain with the question even with the exhaustion.

"Wait. How did you get that much weight in just one month?" Felix said doubtfully. "Because I know you didn't get it from just eating snacks."

"Your mom had an insane amount of food delivered for me to eat in my room every day for the entire month," Ley answered.

"I see. Good for you," Felix said flatly.

"Jeez. You should really sleep now," Ley said worriedly. "Good night."

He's probably tired from working out that much... Ley sighed as he watched as Felix entered his room first before entering his own.

As the sunlight of July twenty blooms towards Ley's room, filling the entire space with nutritious light, Ley is forcefully awakened.

Jeez... this much sunlight on someone who's very much not a morning person. Ley sighs as he opens his eyes, being bombarded with intense light

It was almost time for breakfast, but Felix wasn't standing on Ley's door waiting for him as he normally would.

Welp. I guess he's mentally and physically drained from that month. Ley assumed as he stared at the door, waiting for Felix's knock, only to hear silence outside.

Well, that's weird. Maybe I should wake him up, unless that's rude? I think I should... Ley pondered as he gently knocked on Felix's door three times.

"Wow. I don't think I've seen you in your morning hair," Ley remarked as he entered the room through Felix's courtesy. "Because you always fix it first thing in the morning."

"Yeah—" Felix nodded. "Wait. How did you know that?"

"I can be observant, you know..." Ley mentioned. "And you like being neat, don't you?"

"Sure," Felix answered. "I must have gotten too tired last night, so I woke up late."

"Ahh..." Ley responded. "So... I hear you're still busy starting tomorrow and all of August."

"The enrollment is starting, and the school is using us—the children of rich parents—to advertise the school to other rich parents," Felix explained.

"Oh... I bet a lot of students enroll because of your handsomeness," Ley said humorously.

"That might be true, actually," Felix jokingly said, matching Ley's joke, as he fixed his morning hair in front of Ley.

"I guess we won't be seeing each other again for a month..." Ley mentioned. "So don't miss me too much."

"Good one," Felix smirked, ending the conversation so that the two could go downstairs for the usual family breakfast routine.

Felix waking up late wasn't the only thing unusual today in the Smith household, as Iris moved confidently and comfortably during breakfast, so the family was shocked.

Only Felix knew that Ley might have won Iris over through that compliment he made toward her last month in the animal shelter.

The tradition of Ley being the first to leave the dining table finally vanished after Felix was successfully matching his speed in eating, leaving the table only a second after Ley did.

It felt nice observing Felix eat fast just so I wouldn't be the first one to get up from the dining table, but he just wasn't going to catch up to me, so it was a good thing I slowed myself down a bit. Ley exhaled as he climbed upstairs.

Since Felix and Ley were done eating together at the same time, they also went to their rooms, climbing the stairs together at the same time.

"Something bothering you?" Ley leaned his back against the wall at the end of the staircase, asking the bothered Felix. "You look like you need to ask me something."

"Okay, I'll just ask it." Felix sighs. "What advice do you have for someone who's easily bored?"

"I'm not really qualified to answer for that," Ley answered. "Unless that easily bored someone is you."

"Wow." Felix slightly stepped back, wanting to deny it only to realize that Ley wouldn't believe him even if he denied it. "Yeah, you figured me out that fast."

"You're just not good at being subtle, hehe," Ley remarked. "And I haven't seen you with any type of headset or earphones, so am I right to assume you don't listen to any type of music?"

What? He was able to deduce all that information just by observing what I don't have? Felix stared at Ley in disbelief.

"Uhh, yeah—yes. I don't listen to music," Felix answered.

Wow... This is the first time I've heard and met someone who doesn't listen to music... Or maybe he's just chronically offline compared to me, who is chronically online, hehe. Ley internalizes.

"Then... you should listen to music," Ley advises.

"I see," Felix said flatly. "What do you recommend, then?"

"I recommend exploring your Spotify," Ley answered. "Or your other music streaming apps."

"Because my taste in music is too gay for you," Ley said.

Is he joking? He didn't sound like he was joking... He's probably serious. Felix internalizes.

"Oh, okay. Thanks," Felix said gratefully.

The two ended their conversation and went on to their usual daily lives. Ley planned on how he was going to entertain himself for the next month, while Felix was casually strolling through Spotify, looking for songs to listen to.

Felix blasted his earphones with music from artists he found great songs with all month of the event..

While Ley looked at the titles on his watch list, eager to finish at least half or some of them in a span of a month.

After the month had passed, Felix became like a new person because of music, now someone who is incapable of being bored.

While Ley, who thought he couldn't even finish a quarter of his watch list, felt incredible dismay after he was able to finish his entire watch list.

Jesus... It's already the twenty-ninth of August, which means one month has already passed... Ley thought, having seen the date displayed on his phone. It's also eight thirty in the evening too...

Oh, wow. This computer set is really good. I think I have had it turned on ever since Felix went to that enrollment event. Ley noted. This means I've been playing this interactive game where you build your factory for nine hundred and thirty-six hours?!

Well, technically I didn't play anything. I just had the game on the computer, grinding AFK while I watched my entire watch list off. Ley exhaled.

Is it wrong that I lowkey snooped into Felix's room, seeing he's not there? Ley pondered. Though... it's not like I found anything weird or incriminating; it was pretty boring, if anything.

Well... I feel weird about this, but I've always felt weird when I snoop, so it's nothing new! Ley exclaimed. But... I did find it weird that he didn't have any sex toys like a Fleshlight or a pocket pussy, which, thinking about it now, makes sense because why need fake ones when you can attract actual girls using richness and handsomeness?

Okay, enough of Felix! It was incredible how much I was able to learn of my powers... Like I lost the ability to poop and pee, which is kind of a relief because I've always had a weak stomach and bladder. Ley thought. My body did reach a level of durability where my skin became near impenetrable, which I found because I once tried using razors on my wrists, but anyways, I think Felix just got home.

"Oh, you're back already," Ley said, having opened his door from Felix's knocking. "I'm not going to ask you if you had fun because you might not have,"

"I'm not so sure about that..." Felix said skeptically.

"I see. Good for you," Ley voiced his relief. "The music helped, didn't it?"

"Yes, it did, and I'm grateful that you recommended it," Felix said gratefully. "Hey... I think you should know the ins and outs of the school we're about to go into..."

"Why?" Ley said curiously.

"What?" Felix said unsurely. "What do you mean 'why'?"

"I mean... why do I need information?" Ley answered.

"So you are prepared?" Felix explained.

"Well... the offer's nice and all, thank you." Ley paused. "But... experiencing school with no knowledge about it is kind of fun, don't you think?

"Oh, so you're an adventurous type of person?" Felix said fascinatedly as he hesitated to not push the topic any further. "So. Are you ready for school?"

"I only need an iPad, don't I?" Ley answered. "And Mrs. Smith told me that I would have a locker in school so I wouldn't need to bring a bag or anything because everything in the school is free."

"Well. You should enjoy the last weekend before school," Felix parted as he headed towards the inside of his room.

"Sure," Ley said excitedly.

"Hey..." Ley whispered, stopping Felix from entering his room. "Wait, never mind."

"Stop," Felix declared, stopping Ley from abruptly entering his room. "Did you have something you wanted to say to me?"

"Fine, okay." Ley finally answered. "It's just that... we might not be able to talk or interact as much in school as we do right now."

"Oh. I kind of thought about that too," Ley mentioned. "I was afraid it'd offend you if I were unable to interact with you as much on school grounds."

"Ahh... well. It only makes sense, given the dynamic of a school filled with wealthy children of wealthy parents," Ley noted.

"So that does mean you won't be offended if we can't talk like this right now as we do in school?" Felix asks.

"Please..." Ley said confidently. "I've been to the frontlines of Twitter stan wars, so I can be a pretty tough bitch."

"I see," Felix says unsurely as he doesn't understand what Ley meant, basing the confirmation solely on his confident tone. "Alright, then. So, what are your plans for your last weekend?"

"Bury myself in the bed, probably—wait, no, definitely," Ley said vaguely. "How about you?"

"I'll spend the weekend in advance studying, I guess," Felix answered.

"Wow... you're a good student type of person, huh? Good for you, hehe," Ley said proudly and humorously.

"Yeah," Felix smirks as he bids farewell right before they both enter their rooms. "Enjoy your weekend."

"You too, I guess," Ley said back.
