I'm honestly a little surprised you're asking about the anomaly you found. What brought this on? To answer your question, what you found is a plant! You've seen those before, remember? But, based on your drawing, it's in the sprout stage. So, maybe you didn't recognize it at first. We don't get too many plants way out here in the desert, and it's extra unusual to have one pop up in The Data Center! 

Max, I hate to ask but, did you touch the plant?

Though it might look harmless, it is still an anomally. So, don't interact with it again, and please write back to me the anomaly protocall. That way, I know you understand it.
