Log: 1

Well, so much for Eggman not showing up. I guess I should start from the beginning. So, we had just delivered the mail last night while also having a brief discussion with Douglas at a signal. Eventually, we got back to the sheds, and Sir Topham Hatt had an important message for us as well as Thomas. He told us that we had to take some early morning passenger trains tomorrow due to the extra demand for trains, once he had given us all the details, he left. Thomas and Percy then started grumbling considering how early we'd have to wake up along with how tired they already were which just made it worse. Me and Greg didn't stick around and neither did Bob and Ted (Thomas' crew), so we all left hearing the two tank engines still arguing behind us.

This morning, I woke up and got ready to head out. Once me and Greg got to the sheds, we woke up Percy who was still very sleepy which I wasn't surprised about. Shortly after, Bob and Ted showed up to get Thomas going. Once both engines were ready, we set off towards Tidmouth to collect our coaches.

Once we all arrived, Thomas collected Annie and Clarabel while Percy grabbed some red branch line coaches. We soon arrived at the platform, and I couldn't believe how many people were there! A few minutes later, the people had just gotten into the coaches and we were about to leave when we suddenly heard a loud rumbling sound and the whole ground started to shake like crazy! I looked out of Percy's cab and saw a massive portal appear above us with a familiar man with goggles and a big moustache come out of it! I then remembered what day it was, and today was the 1 month anniversary of when we got here! Out of the portal along with Eggman came an entire army of his robots! The passengers started to scream in the coaches as the guard was getting the last few into the train! Eggman suddenly noticed me in the cab and yelled for his bots to fire! Both Thomas and Percy blew their whistles and sped out of the station! We went in reverse while Thomas continued forward just as the missiles hit the station!

We were suddenly sent down The Little Western as Eggman continued to chase us with several of his bots following behind! We raced through Tidmouth Halt and saw Duck sitting at the platform! Percy blew his whistle for Duck to get out of there and thank god he did otherwise he would've been blown to bits! Once we got out into the open, I suddenly heard a loud hissing sound and realized that Percy's piston was leaking steam! Percy was groaning from the pain, but kept pushing himself. I told him to take it easy, and he listened. I then told Greg to take the controls, and I jumped out of the cab and onto the roof. I then grabbed my Piko Piko Hammer and swung it towards Eggman which thankfully knocked him down, and the bots turned back! That was when we remembered Duck was still back there and he might be in danger! I then looked back and noticed that a set of points were set into a siding! I quickly jumped back into the cab, and pulled. on the brakes as hard as I could, but we weren't fast enough as we crashed through the buffers causing the coaches to derail! I was about to jump down as we suddenly heard a whistle and saw Duck racing past us with a few bots after him! After they were out of sight, I hopped down from the cab and went to check on Percy, and he wasn't in the best of shape. He had a few bruises and a cut from Eggman's bots and the explosion at Tidmouth. Greg went to go check on the passengers as I sat on the ground beside Percy. I then started to cry feeling as if I failed everyone. Percy noticed this, and comforted me saying that everything would be alright. I stood up and hugged his buffer while thanking him. He blushed a little as I then noticed Greg walking back. He gave me so much relief saying that no one was seriously injured, the worst people had were a few small cuts.

After that, we all tried to think of what to do now, we could've left to go and find a crane and possibly Duck, but I wasn't sure if it was a good idea to leave the passengers stranded. After some discussion, we decided to head off to find a crane so we could get out of here asap in case if Eggman comes back to find us. Thankfully Percy had cooled down by now so I was able to patch up his piston. Once that was done, we set off toward Callan looking for a crane and Duck.

Once we arrived, god it was awful. The town was destroyed, along with the yard! That unfortunately wasn't the worst part, in the middle of the yard on fire was Donald! He was basically burnt to the ground and all that was remaining of him was the back of his tender, part of his cab, a few wheels, and a few parts of boiler tubes. Percy broke down in tears and I tried to comfort him as he did to me. Thankfully he stopped, but I could still hear him sniffling a little as we continued down the line. This is currently where we're at so I'll write more soon.

Log: 2

Well, I finally have some good news, we found Duck! Although he was in a bit of a predicament. Basically, we continued on to coastal track and we found Duck along with his coaches Alice and Mirabel hanging off the edge of a giant hole in the ground! As soon as we all saw this, we set to work. Percy buffered up to the coaches and pulled them clear, then he went back for Duck. I hopped out and coupled him up to Duck. After much strain, Percy managed to pull Duck to safety! Duck thanked all of us for the help, but Percy was just glad his friend was safe and sound. We soon got our consist together and set off back down the branch to find a crane if possible.

As we passed through Callan, Duck noticed Donald's burning remains and fell silent while also crying a little. We decided to check Arlesbrugh harbour for a crane, and we thankfully found one there! We grabbed it and went back to the siding at Arlesburgh to re-rail the coaches. Once we had gotten the coaches back on the rails, Duck turned around and we set off towards Tidmouth to try and find anyone else.

Once we arrived, we found the place also destroyed considering this was where Eggman came in, I wonder where he went? Afterwards, we thought to go check Thomas' branch line to try and find Toby, Mavis, Daisy, Sonic or Knuckles. We're currently at the junction to head down there, so  I'll write more shortly.

Log: 3

Well, we've had some good luck! We made our way down the line and we found it untouched which was shocking! We stopped at Terence's field and he was there safe and sound which was a relief. He seemed confused on why we were here and we told him about Eggman's attack. He was shocked and told us he thought he had heard explosions earlier but just brushed it off to him being tired. We told him to get to somewhere safe, probably the Mainland would be best, so he did. After that, we continued down the line until we reached Ffarquhar, which was surprisingly still standing! While looking around the yard, we saw some coal trucks in a shed we could use, so I moved Percy over to them, but I accidentally pull the regulator too far open and we smashed into the trucks causing Percy to get another scar on the bottom right of his face. He was ticked off and I started to cry for getting him hurt. Percy stopped being angry and now felt bad for what he caused before apologizing for snapping at me.

I've been silent for a while after we got both the engines in the shed. Percy now feels really bad and is trying to get me to say anything, Greg is also trying to comfort me but I'm still not speaking a word as I still felt upset for what I'd caused and how it hurt someone I care about deeply. That's basically where we're at right now, so I'll write more later if I feel like it.

Log: 4

After a while, it was about 5PM and I decided to finally speak. I said we should check the quarry to try and find Toby or Mavis. Percy eager to hear me talking and wanting to find his friends agreed. Duck will stay here with the passengers while we're gone, so hopefully it won't be long.

Well, this didn't go to plan at all, so I'll try to explain and this the best I can.  We entered the quarry and thankfully Toby and Mavis were alright! They were both sitting in a shed near the entrance and had heard a radio broadcast about Eggman so they both took shelter. Luckily they had a works unit coach filled with all the workmen, and one of them was Knuckles! I was so happy to see him and he was likewise. They said they were planning to head out soon until we showed up. We told them that Duck was waiting at Ffarquhar and we soon got a consist together. Once everyone was ready, we set off.

As we were travelling, we all suddenly saw a bunch of flying objects above Ffarquhar, I knew exactly what they were, and we all sped up in hopes of saving Duck and the passengers! We then arrived to a blown up and on fire Ffarquhar! Everything that had still been standing not even an hour ago was now reduced to flames and ashes. We were quick to notice that Duck was gone, and before I said anything, Percy started to cry hard. Me and Greg hopped down from the cab and went to look at him, but god that was a mistake. As soon as we saw his face, it was like nothing I'd ever seen before. His pupils were much smaller than they should've been and he was crying so hard that I can't even describe it. Toby and Mavis tried to tell him that everything would be alright, but Percy wasn't listening. That was when I climbed up onto his running board and gave him a big hug to try and calm him down. I talked to Percy telling him that he'd be alright and he would get through this. He looked up at me, and thankfully stopped crying. I climbed down and hopped back into the cab with Greg. We then left what was still standing of Ffarquhar and started our journey back down the branch. We're currently passing Hackenbeck, so I'll write later if anything interesting happens.

Log: 5

Finally, something good! We pulled into Elsbridge and there in the goods shed were Duck and Edward! Duck apologized for leaving but we understood why he had to. Edward was immediately worried when he saw the state of Percy, so after we got the engines settled in the shed, I went to tell him everything that had happened, and he asked if he could have a chat with Percy alone. I agreed and I brought Percy over to the station while Edward's crew (Charlie and Sidney) brought Edward over, after that was done, we all left the two engines to have their chat.

About 20 minutes later, Edward blew his whistle signalling to us that they were done. After we brought them back over to the shed, I noticed that Percy seemed much more cheerful than he had before! He told me a little bit about what he and Edward talked about, but I was just glad he was doing better. I gave him a hug, and I noticed he blushed a little! Anyway, I'll ask Edward for his story tomorrow as it's 9PM now and we've had a very tiring and stressful day. When I find Eggman, I'm gonna hit him with my hammer harder than I ever have! I also wanna find Sonic, god I hope he's alright.
