Several years later...
"Brother Luca! Come play with us!", A boy shouted.
"Later, I am busy!", Luca answered whilst keeping his gaze on the book.
[Seriously! Why is it so hard to figure out!]
[Why are you stuck on the first page] A familiar voice inside him questioned.
[HEI! It's not easy to learn Advance Magic, Okay?]
Suddenly, a water ball splashed his face and the book.
"HAHA! That's what you get for not playing with...us", the boy said as he noticed Luca overshadowing him.
"Umm...Brother, I-"
A couple of different colors, red and blue respectively, of magic circles appeared on Luca's palm and he clapped. Mist started spewing out of his hand.
The boy and the other children were slowly being engulfed by the mist. The boy stepped back out of fear, trying to run away. However, he would eventually hit something.
"Brother Luca, I am sorry, I didn't mean to-", The boy said as he was suddenly picked up and could feel his sides being...Tickled?
"HAHAHA THAT'S WHAT YOU GET FOR MESSING WITH ME, YOU LITTLE BRAT!", Luca said whilst laughing sadistically.
"HAHAHA! HEI! THAT TICKLES BROTHER"
The mist slowly dispersed, revealing all the exhausted yet still laughing children. Luca dropped the boy.
"But Seriously guys, don't interrupt me for now, I have an entrance exam coming up and I am barely ready"
"Luca, I need your help with something!", Someone called from inside the building
"Yes mother!"
"Okay, you rascals, Go back and play, and don't make mother worry", He said
"Okay", they said in unison
Luca went inside the orphanage. Suddenly, he was dragged to a room and in front of him was his mother.
''Hmm, do you think this color or this color fits you Luca?", She asked whilst holding two sets of clothing
"Umm, I-"
"Or maybe this one", She said as she grabbed another.
"Does it really matter how I-",
She stared at him and said, "Yes"
"...yes mother", He said and let out a sigh
"I need my boy to dress well for his upcoming exam", She exclaimed while scrolling through the set amount of clothing she had in store.
[She is always like this, I think my normal clothing would suffic-]
"Don't fight me on this, Son", she threatened with a smile on her face.
He gulped and said "yes...mother"
After some time...
"Luca, have you prepared for everything", She asked
"Huh? Of course", He said with a smile on his face.
"Well, do your best out there okay?", she said whilst fixing the crumples on his shirt.
"The test is still in a week mother"
"So?"
"Okay mother, I will do my best"
"Good, now go out there and grab your brothers and sisters for me, they probably wander off right now"
"I know mother"
He went out and saw the children running in the distance. They looked at him with a cunning smile.
[OH SO THATS HOW YOU WANT TO PLAY] He thought and he readied himself.
He opened his two palms and two different colored magic circles, red and green respectively, emerged. He clapped his hands together and extended his arm back. A gust of fire shot out and propelled himself forward.
"OKAY YOU LITTLE RASCALS, YOU BETTER RUN"
The children were running with wind magic, but eventually they would be captured one by one. Eventually, one of the children got far enough that he reached the entrance of a cave. When he tried to get inside, he slipped and fell on a mud that wasn't there before.
"Thats what you get you little rascal", he said as he grabbed the child
"HEI, LET ME GO"
"Yeah yeah, let's go home, or else, we might have to face our mother's wrath", he said. Hearing those words, all of them gulped, including Luca.
After arriving home and the children got a scolding, they all had dinner and their lives continued as usual. Luca had to balance the children's daily shenanigans and the amounts of all nighters reading magic theorems.
One week later, Luca arrived at the academy's entrance. Attending students, teachers, and even future students were present. Some looked like they were nobles, some were ordinary like him.
[Well...Hope for the best]
