[How did I get into this mess?] 

Luca was holding the tip of the blade of a familiar face.

"You would protect those three delinquents?"

[SERIOUSLY WHATS WRONG WITH NOBLES IN THIS PLACE]

Several hours before, 

Luca was about to leave for school.

"So, Are you just gonna sneak out and not say anything to your mother"

"MOTHER?!"

Suddenly Luca felt a slight pain on his left cheek. His mother was pinching him till he kneeld down 

"OW OW MOTHER IT HURTS"

"I can't believe you would leave us without even saying goodbye" 

"It's 5 a.m mother, I thought-"

She then glared at him.

[I advise you to yield human] 

"I...am sorry mother", he said as his cheek was let go. 

"Sigh, seriously, I know I can't aid you there, but at least, I want to see you go", She said as she tidied up his shriveled clothing and fixed his tie. 

"You know I will come back right mother? What's the worse that could happen"

Silence suddenly invaded the room. 

"I know Luca, It's just, you were just a boy back then, but now..."

"You don't need to worry mother, just because i am going to school, doesn't mean i am going forever, I will come back once the semester's over" 

She hugged Luca and said, "I know you will, because you're you, Luca" 

Luca hugged back. "Thank you, Mother", he said as he set off to the magic academy. 

He used his combination of magic to propel himself forward and to make sure he didn't miss the first day of school. After arriving at the entrance, he would stop for a moment. 

[I can't believe I got accepted]

[Getting cold feet now?]

[NO! It's just, my magic ain't as cool as the other candidates]

[Does it really matter?]

[...You're right, Let's just hope I don't get lost]

Several minutes later...

[WHERE IS THE CLASS? THE MAP SAID IT SHOULD BE HERE]

He walked aimlessly, looking left and right, trying to find his class. 

"Hei! You look lost", A boy said. He looked around the same age as Luca. He had this white streak on his hair. 

"Oh. yeah...umm..I am kinda-"

"Hei, it's cool, I am Vale, Let me get you to our class, Luca"

"Wait, How-"

"You were a candidate right? You looked like you were stressed on the written exam", Vale said with a chuckle.

"Yeah yeah, nice to meet you..Umm"

"Vale"

"Yeah Vale, Nice to meet you, Vale", He said as they both shook hands. 

Vale showed Luca around before finally arriving at their class.

"This is our class, Class 1-B"

"Oh, thank you, umm Vale"

"It's my pleasure dude", Vale said whilst patting Luca on the back. 

Luca looked around the class for his seat and noticed the Headmaster's granddaughter. She was fixated on a book. 

[Huh, didn't expect to be put in the same class with her, I expect she would have skipped grades already], He thought as he sat down. 

He looked beside and noticed the noble girl who had used enhancement magic. The girl sitting so straight which looked quite uncomfortable.

[For a girl, she is-]

"If I may, what are you staring at", she said as she glanced or rather glared at him. 

"Oh sorry, I didn't realize, I am Luca", He said as he extended his hand

"I am Madeline Trinni Deelot from the House of Deelot and I advise you not to talk to me so casually", she said as Luca could feel a threatening aura. 

[I DIDN'T EVEN DO ANYTHING]

"O...kay, Sorry...I guess", He said.

[I wanted to ask her about enhancement magic honestly]

[...]

[What?]

[Nothing human]

Luca looked around and saw Vale talking with other students.

[Well, at least someone has better luck]

After a while the teacher came in. Luca's eyes widened.

[WHY IS SHE OUR TEACHER!]

"Mornin Students! You all can call me Miss Greinda and I will be your Homeroom teacher!", She said as she slammed her fist to the teacher's desk. A gust of wind could be felt from her impact. She then glanced at Luca. 

[NO! NOT AGAIN!]

[Calm down, even if she did lunge at you, you would survive]

[THAT'S NOT REASSURRING]

"To start it off, all of you introduce yourself one by one and let's start with you little missy", she said as she pointed to the girl who was reading a book. The girl stood up.

"My name is Marie von Schrodinger, I am the granddaughter of the Headmaster, Theodore Von Schrodinger", she said calmly and sat back down. 

"Interesting, so what leveled spells can you cast little miss Marie", the teacher said.

"I can cast up to Beyond Mastery Magic-leveled spells", She said calmly. 

The students gasped

[I knew she could cast Mastery Magic Spells, but Beyond Mastery Magic, but I guess that's what to be expected from a genius]

"HAHAHA, Now this is fun, You all should aim for her level", The teacher said proudly. Marie then sat down and continued reading her book. 

"All right, What about you next", she said as she pointed to Vale. He stood up.

"I am Vale Dyeless and I am proficient in using advance wind magic", He said and he sat back.

Miss Grealina kept pointing one by one, until she pointed to Luca.

"What about you dragon boy, care to introduce yourself"

[She did this on purpose]

Luca stood up and said "My name is Luca, and I can use all the basic magic type like all of you, but that's it"

"Hmmm is that really all?", she said with a sly voice. 

[SHE IS DEFINITELY DOING THIS ON PURPOSE]

[What are you so worked up about?]

"Yes, that's all"

"C'mon don't be shy, why don't you tell them that you're a Spirit magic user", she said with eyes of sly. Everyone, but Marie, gasped and looked at Luca. Some were whispering questions. 

[OH COME ON!]

[What's so wrong about everyone knowing?]

[JUST SHUT IT]

"Yes...I am a spirit magic user", he said. 

"And what spirit did you make a contract with~", 

"...A...dragon", he said as he sighed and sat back down. 

[IT'S OVER, IT'S SO OVER]
