After a couple of classes, it was finally breaktime, 

"HAHA, didn't expect that you're a spirit magic user dude, that's cool", Vale said.

"Sigh, why did she have to force it out of me", Luca replied 

"I don't see anything wrong? Miss Grealina is a spirit magic user to", 

"I guess, you're right"

Luca then noticed three figures walking. A brutish one at the front with some of his clothes ripped and behind him were two more students. One was wearing glasses and looked timid, and the other one had a very spiky hairstyle and had his tongue out for some reason.

[What the heck?]

"Oh don't mind them, they are just the so-called three delinquents"

"You know them?"

"Oh I just heard from some seniors, if i remember correctly, the one with the glasses is called light, the weird one is Butterouse, he likes to make thing explode with fire magic, and the brute is called Bon"

"So even schools like these have people like them"

"Well, if you don't bother them, they won't bother you"

"I see"

[But they don't look that intimi-]

Suddenly, the sound of a drawn sword could be heard. Madeline drew a blade towards the three delinquents.

"I suggest you stop disturbing the other students and go back to once you came!", Madeline said.

"Huh, you..you think we're scared?", Bon said whilst his legs shake slightly 

"Yeah, Lady! Move or...or I might have to blow you up", Butterouse said whilst making sparks between his palms. 

"If you won't stop, then you leave me no choice", Madeline said as her sword glowed brighter. In retaliation, Butterouse magic grew and grew.

[ARE THEY CRAZY!]

As both casted their magic, smoke covered both sides. As the smoke subsided, the three delinquents fell and in front of them was Luca. His hands were covered with scales and he was gripping both the blade's tip and Butterouse's palms. 

[WERE THEY REALLY TRYING TO BLOW UP THE SCHOOL ON MY FIRST DAY!]

"What do you think you're doing, Luca", Madeline asked with a threatening voice. 

"I...I think all of you should calm down"

"Are you really protecting these three?"

[SERIOUSLY THAT'S WHAT SHE'S THINKING]

"I am just trying to...make sure you lot don't blow up the school"

"Me? They were the ones who initiated it"

[ARE NOBLES REALLY LIKE THIS?!]

"Whatever it is, let's just say this was an accident, okay?", Luca said.

"Fine", Madeleine said as she sheathed back her blade.

"But, anything they do from now on, It's on you!", She continued and proceeded to leave the premises. 

Luca's hands went back to normal and he tried to catch his breath. 

"Seriously you three! It's still my first day, can you guys not blow up the school!", Luca said to the three delinquents who suddenly disappeared.

[WHERE DID THEY? HUH!?]

Luca then looked around and noticed everyone was looking at him. 

"I AM SORRY!". He ran upstairs and would eventually end up on the roof. He then sat down. 

"SERIOUSLY....WHAT WAS I THINKING! I... COULD HAVE DIED", Luca said whilst trying to catch his breath.

[You didn't though]

[Yeah, THANKS TO YOU]

[Why do you make it sound like a bad thing?]

[YOU KNOW WHY!]

"Sigh, seriously, this is just my first day, It's not even over yet", he said as he laid on the school roof. He closed his eyes, listening to the soothing winds and feeling the warm air around him. 

"It ain't half bad though"

He opened his eyes and suddenly,

"Who were you talking to?"

"AGHHHH", Luca screamed as he noticed a blonde haired girl in front of him staring at him.

He blushed a bit and crawled back to the door.

"I AM SORRY! I DIDN'T-"

"It's fine", 

"Oh...okay, umm I am Luca and you are?", Luca said as he stood up and extended his hand. 

The girl looked at the distance and said "My name is Via Topia, were you talking to your spirit?"

"Huh? Yeah how did you-"

"I am a spirit magic user too, like you", she said calmly. Silence then covered the roof

[This girl is...quite odd]

"Umm, Vi-"

"Luca, why did you come to this academy?"

"Huh?"

"Why did you come to this academy Luca?", she said whilst she stared into his eyes. 

The sound of the wind surrounds the roof. Luca took a breath. 

"To survive"
