After another day in the infirmary, Luca could finally resume going to class and preparing for the dreaded final exam. 

At break time, in the class, 

"Seriously, why do I have to fight someone just to get a good score?", Luca questioned.

"I mean you don't need to win if that gives you a confidence boost", Vale answered. 

"Sigh, you know I am the only one who barely could use advance magic" 

Madeline said, "You need not to worry about it, I think you are commendable enough as you are"

"She's right, you know, maybe you should use your "dirty tricks" instead?", Vale said as he chuckled. 

"Haha, funny"

"Hei, Vale, let's go eat", a student called from the door. 

"Well, gotta go man", Vale said as he left. 

"Well, I am going, I need to do my training routine", Madeline said as she stood up. 

"At break time?"

"A knight should always be vigilant, besides this is what I do everyday, you can join if you want"

"Yeah, thanks, but I think I am gonna pass"

"Suit yourself", she said as she left.

[Well, I guess I am just gonna eat there again]

Luca went to buy lunch and went to the roof.

"Via? you here?",Luca called. 

[Huh, I don't see her-]

"Yes?"

"AGHHH", Luca screamed.

[SERIOUSLY STOP DOING THAT!]

"Oh, hey, Via"

"Why are you looking for me?"

"Umm, it's nothing, I just thought that because you're usually here, I better say Hi", Luca said as he sat on the school's roof and started eating his lunch.

"I see"

Silence then filled the roof.

Luca then looked at Via who was staring at the sky as usual. He then saw something floating around her.

Luca tilted his head and had a confused look.

She then stared at him and said, "Why do you work so hard for what you already have, Luca?"
