The next day, at break time, 

Luca was resting his head on his desk. 

"I can't believe I still have to do lessons even after the final exam", Luca said.

"Well, it is part of it, besides they need to evaluate our exam dude", Vale said. 

"I guess you're right, but...why can't we just have a rest already?"

"HAHHAHA, You sound like an old man"

"Do you need me to lift you up to the infirmary again?", Madeline said as she chuckled. 

"Haha, very funny"

"But, you killed it yesterday dude, even the other teachers were impressed"

"I do agree, your battle with Marie sent a shiver down my spine", Madeline said. 

"Guess your bag of tricks ain't so bad after all"

"Haha, thanks guys, ow-", Luca said as he could feel a sharp pain on his side.

Suddenly a voice called him. 

"Luca"

"Huh?", Luca said as he sluggishly lifted his head. It was Marie. 

"Oh, Marie, yeah what is it?"

"Do you have time after school?"

"Huh? yeah, why?"

"I need your help with something, may I request your assistance?"

"huh, yeah sure?",

"Okay, I will meet you at the library then", Marie said as she left the class

[Did...I just say yes?]

"...what just happened", Luca asked himself.

"I guess...she has taken a liking to you dude", Vale said as he chuckled.

"Excuse me...what?", Luca said.

"Well, I guess the battle did stir her heart afterall", Madeline said as she smirked. 

Luca sighed.

"Cut it out you two, it's probably nothing important, besides why does a genius like her need my help?", He said as he sluggishly left the class.

He bought lunch and went to his usual spot. 

[I am not gonna let you get me this time]

"Via, I know you're here, don't you dare sneak up on me", He said as he turned around, yet no one was there.

Suddenly he could hear a whisper on his ear, "Hey Luca"

"AGHHHH", Luca screamed and stumbled again, falling to the ground

"CAN YOU PLEASE STOP DOING THAT!"

"I probably will"

"What is that supposed to mean?"

"I've made a friend", she said as she looked at the sky with a soft smile on her face

"huh?"

"A girl approached me some days ago and we talked...and we kept talking...and I feel like I don't want to stop talking to her"

Luca smiled and handed her a snack and said, "Isn't that nice?"

She accepted the snack and smiled.

"I guess...it is"
