As the days went by, the demons became more restless. Their numbers were dwindling yet their attacks were as fierce as ever. 

They attacked neighboring towns. Some were lucky enough to evacuate to the kingdom.

The king dispatched the guild to investigate further. 

As they arrived at one of the ruined towns, Lucious saw all of it. 

As he walked further and further into the town, more rubbles, more dead bodies of humans and demons alike, survivors, all of them could be seen. 

The more he walked, the more he saw, the more he felt. 

The eyes they showed, the expression they gave, were all too familiar. 

He then stopped for a moment.

He saw a slash mark on a dead body. 

[Deep, precise...just like how barry does it] 

He looked at one ruined building.

[Mana remnants...]

He closed his eyes.

[...Sarah?] 

"You should understand Lucious, if you were in our position you would do the same", A voice of the past reminded him 

He clenched his fist.

Suddenly a voice from a distance said, "These demons...Was one town not enough?"

"Their demons, what do you expect?", another said.

They approached him.

"Hey bro, we found something, but I don't think you'll like it", one of his member said

Lucious sighed.

"Let's go"

They all walked.

The silence of the city was deafening.

As he approached closer, he saw a couple of dead bodies.

[No...]

He kneeled down. 

Another voice of the past called to him, "I am going home okay, Leader? I want to see my ma and pa" 

[Marty...I...am sorry]

He clenched his fist as he saw one of his member's corpses

"Bro...I am sorry you had to see this"

[I...should...have]

He could hear ringing in his ear.

The sound of the crying victims were slowly deafened by it. 

[Been here with you] 

"Who...did this?", Lucious mumbled. 

One of them clenched her fist.

"...We don't know", she said. 

She kneeled to his level and hugged him.

"But...we'll find them", she said. 

He held her hand, holding it tight.

He sighed and stood up. 

They all looked at him.

"Let's go"
