As Zirc was gonna pay, Lyla was in front, and a song played on the speakers; it was a soft rock song that was Zirc’s go-to karaoke song. He didn't really care cause in his mind, no one knew him, so he just sang silently *as if* and just enjoyed himself. Lyla was directly in front of him and was slowly getting annoyed, but then the next song played *What is with this book and queues, man?*. This song was her favorite, so she started singing badly on purpose to mimic Zirc, which the dense airhead did not notice, but he also liked the song, so he just sang along as well. Once the song ended, they laughed and introduced themselves. They talked about the books they bought, and they both saw the comics. Zirc got an action-adventure comic, and Lyla got a romcom novel. They both didn't wanna judge, but you could see their faces were screaming *typical!*.
*Hahahhahaahaha I'm sorry, this is just funny to me, the one that wrote this hahahaha*
They noticed each of them was judging, and Zirc, being a bubbly airhead, started to voluntarily defend his choice and sang praises of the book he chose, to which Lyla sarcastically answered: “Yup, that's nice”. Zirc was oddly fired up, and knowing how he likes challenges, he just started saying how good it is and that she can't say anything cause she hasn't read it yet. Lyla sighed and went to pay for her book. Zirc shut down again and just started to watch his cartoons on his phone to calm down and forget what just happened. He just paid for his book and went straight to Goose's.
*Please don't ship them, it's my book, not yours*
