Every muscle was straining working on keeping the beast in place, and stopping it from descending upon those soldiers.
How to stop it? How to fight? Once the fact that MK was here got through the beasts mind it would turn and decide that MK would be make a better chewtoy.
(Straight back, twist the waist, over the shoulder).
MKs body moved as the knowledge flowed unbidden into them.
The beast gave a squawk as its claws left the ground, and MK dragged it over the shoulder.
"GggggrrrrRAH!"
There was a moment of near-weightlessness as the creature reached the peak of its arc, before the full strength of the Monster Killer combined with the weight of gravity slammed the beast on its back, leaving it vulnerable.
