While on the road, Lyla began asking the two backseat passengers questions to quench her thirst for romance. She asked about Peony's favourite perfume, and they started talking about which perfumes they liked and from which store or brand. Lyla was using the conversation to dig up info while also paying attention to their body language. Peony, on the other hand, was excitedly engaging in her interests in perfumes while observing Zirc's reaction to their conversation. Lyla then shifted to Zirc and brought out a romcom book that she found in his room; the book was titled “The Girl Who Suffered a Flowery Path”. She then asked Zirc about it, and he said that it was a gift he got from a friend, which raised eyebrows. Lyla then told him that it was also one of Peony's favourite books. Zirc then acted surprised and asked Peony about it. They talked about the book but soon it turned into the typical argument because Zirc did not like the MC's father but Peony did, Zirc hated that he treated her like a tool to market their family by marrying her off to a fellow conglomerate family but Peony justified that because in the end he was trying to rescue her from her evil mother who was trying to murder her because she was in a relationship with another man and they wanted to murder the entire family and gain the inheritance. Zirc said: “ No matter how much he wants to save his daughter, he should not have sent her away without telling her anything! Her father was her world, but then she felt abandoned, and no matter how rich or handsome or kind her fiancé was, that would never fix it”. Peony took his opinion but justified his actions by telling him about the scene where the MC’s father placed his life on the line to save her from her mother by knowingly drinking her poisoned drink, she then added: “That's a father right there! He shouldn't be required to inform her of anything because if she knew, she would have confronted her mother and risk getting killed right there and then!”. Zirc agrees with her but still holds on to his opinion. They both stayed quiet, and Lyla started to feel guilty. Goose was busy chewing, and because of the awkward silence the whole car could hear him swallow the chocolate as he sighs in relief, only to see Lyla with a look that was worried, curious, and the most obvious of all, furious at him. All he thought to himself was: “What did I do?!”.
The silence continues until Zirc goes up to Goose and asks in both a worried and mocking tone: “How was the chocolate? How long were you chewing for?” and he laughed while asking, “Want some water?” Goose looked both annoyed and parched; he then told Zirc that water would be nice. Zirc gave him a bottle of water he brought from home. Goose didn't think twice and gave Lyla to open it for him, but Lyla noticed what drink it was and her eyes opened wide. Lyla quickly opened the bottle and gave it to her trusted driver, Goose, bless his heart, drank the water without thinking and gulped the entire bottle down. He told Zirc it tasted great and asked what type of soda it was. Zirc laughed, and Lyla joined him while answering with three words: “GHOST PEPPER SODA”. Goose reacted and shouted, “WHAT?!”. He then started to feel the heat slowly climbing in his throat. Thankfully, they arrived at their destination at the nearby mall with Lyla's favourite bookstore. Goose was gasping like a dog and wanted to ask for water, but as he was gonna shout “WAT….” he remembered the reason he needed it in the first place, and it all began with Zirc and water, so he just ran into the mall for the nearest convenience store. It just so happens that there is a huge line, and all he wanted was the sweet taste of cold water and milk, which he grabbed and queued up to pay. He was gasping and spewing saliva, which disgusted the other customers. Zirc ran to him, and you would think he was worried, but nope, he shouted: “WAIT, I HAVE TO RECORD THIS AND SEND THIS TO YOUR MOM!!” After a good 2 minutes, he got his water and milk and chugged it down like there was no tomorrow, Zirc on the other hand, was showing the girls, who arrived later, the video of Goose queuing with saliva dripping like a bulldog while laughing together aloud.
